"Doris, how can you do this to Noah?"

Being caught on the spot, Doris felt a mixture of panic, shame, and anger.

"Noah is my best friend. Do you think this has anything to do with me?"

"I warn you. Don't tell Noah. Keep your mouth shut."

"Noah has the right to know."

"You are a worthless loser. Your wife has been stolen, so you intend to destroy the relationship between me and Noah, don't you?"

"You..."

Clara Yu was indeed a disgrace to Greg. Doris enraged Greg, who didn't know what to say.

Steven was upset. He was having a good time with Doris, but Greg interrupted them.

He stood up and pointed at Greg. "Who allows you to come in without my permission? Get out right now!"

Steven was skinny and seemed suffering from malnutrition. When he stood up, he was shorter than Doris and reached Greg's shoulders.

Steven's words added fuel to the fire.

Grabbing the ashtray casually, Greg flung it at Steven.

Bang!

The ashtray hit the corner of the table and shattered into pieces. It didn't hit Steven, but it scared him and Doris.

"Shut the fuck up. Does it have anything to do with you?" Greg snapped.

Steven was a timid bully. He flinched and didn't dare to confront Greg again.

Greg went straight to Doris and said, "Noah treats you so well. If you have a little conscience, you shouldn't do such a thing."

Doris didn't speak, and Greg didn't know what she was thinking.

After he spoke, Greg turned to leave.

Seeing that Greg was about to leave the office, Steven managed to say, "You come to my office to make trouble. You are finished. You'll be fired!"

Greg stopped and looked back at Steven, his eyes extremely cold.

Steven was instantly frightened and shuddered. He was afraid that Greg would rush over and beat him up.

"You can give it a try and see if you can get rid of me."

Greg walked out of the office and lit a cigarette.

He failed to understand why women were so changeful. Now Noah and he had the same experience.

Greg was hesitant to tell Noah. After all, Noah loved Doris so much, and he would be heartbroken if he knew about this.

Greg sighed and called Luther.

Thinking of Greg's arrogance when he left, Steven was angry. He thought, "What a nerve! I have to fire him."

Steven called Frank Thomas, the director of Human Resources.

"Mr. Thomas, do me a favor and fire a man named Greg from our department."

"Greg?"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"I'm sorry, but we can't fire Greg."

After he spoke, Frank hung up the phone directly.

Steven's face darkened. Why was Frank so rude to him?

Steven couldn't figure it out. Frank had never refused when he asked him to fire the employees before. Why did Frank say no without a reason this time?

Did Greg have connections with the top management?

Steven got nervous. He thought, "If Greg is a friend of the top management, I might lose my job since I offended him."

At this moment, Doris glanced at the contract that Greg had put down. She couldn't help but exclaim.

"Mr. Miller, look, it's a contract with Gloria Company."

Steven took the contract from Doris and looked at it. He was shocked.

No wonder Human Resources didn't agree to fire Greg.

Time flew.

After getting off work, Greg drove out of the company to pick up Alice.

It was a Rolls-Royce Phantom, which caused quite a stir.

Jolin was excited at the sight of the car, but she couldn't clearly see who the driver was.

Helen said in surprise, "Jolin, did you see the man in the car? I feel it's Greg."

"Greg? Are you kidding? He's a worthless loser and can only ride on an electric bike."

"That's right."

Helen was convinced by Jolin's words. She thought it was her illusion.

At the gate of the kindergarten, Greg spotted his daughter.

But something was wrong. Alice was protected by her teacher Erin. There was a palm mark on her tearful face.

A crowd formed around them. Greg squeezed in and went up to his daughter.

At the sight of Greg, Alice ran out of Erin's arms and threw herself into Greg's embrace, crying sorrowfully. "Dad..."

It pained Greg to see his daughter like this.

Greg comforted Alice for a while. When he was about to ask what was going on, he heard a mean voice.

"Hey, isn't this Greg? Why do you come here so late?"

Greg looked up and saw Hayley.

Hayley is Clara's older sister and Alice's aunt.

Greg stood up angrily, realizing that this was mostly related to Hayley.

When he asked Hayley to take care of Alice before, Hayley hit Alice and said the child was disobedient.

Later, Greg learned from Alice that she accidentally dropped the food on the floor while eating, and Hayley beat her up.

Greg was furious, but at that time, he and Clara hadn't divorced yet, and Clara made peace, so Hayley walked away from it.
