The next day, Mei Xing went to work. After finalizing the details of her work regarding Mr Zheng's building, she went to Yang Longwen's office.

Luckily, he was around and not too busy to speak with her. Knocking lightly on the door, she waited for a response before she walked in.

"Mei Xing, what brings you here today?" Yang Longwen asked.

"I have something to discuss with you."

Seeing her seriousness, Yang Longwen nodded and offered her a sit. "What's wrong? Is it Mr Zheng?"

Mei Xing shook her head. "It's not him. He has been cooperative since we met. It just... well I had another job proposal," she told him.

Yang Longwen looked surprised. "Really? That's awesome, Mei Xing. Look who is making waves now," he smiled, sincerity in his tone and eyes.

Mei Xing nodded but she was not smiling as she did not know how he would take the news she was about to drop on him.
