Grace stormed into their room, her frustration evident in every step as she angrily slammed the door shut behind her. She paced back and forth, her mind reeling with a mix of hurt, anger, and disbelief.

Seconds later, Jacob entered the room, his expression filled with concern as he watched Grace pacing. "Grace, what happened back there? Why did you push my mother to the ground?" he asked softly, his voice tinged with worry.

Grace whirled around to face him, her eyes flashing with emotion. "Jacob, how could you believe that I would push your mother?" she demanded, her voice trembling with hurt. "Do you really think I'm capable of something like that?"

Jacob's brow furrowed with confusion as he took a step closer to her. "I don't know what to think, Grace," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "But to be honest, you and my mother have never seen eye to eye. She's hurt you in the past, and maybe... just maybe, you pushed her because of that."
