Velios vs Osiris

The sound was heard echoing throughout the dome shaped room. Blood splattered everywhere and Vadh was blown back by the shockwave of magic created by the collision. Smoke and sanddust was covering the scene, only revealing a singular shadow standing in it with tons of blood splattered around. Vadh was instantly shocked at what he saw. "Hey! Osiris! He was defenseless you stupid bitch! You took it to far." Vadh had an irritated look but also a worrying one. Velios was nowhere to be seen as there was only a single standing shadow in the smoke scene that was slowly disappearing. "Hey, Velios! Are you okay-" Vadh only feeling in that moment was now shock. As the individual standing in the shadow was not Osiris anymore, but Velios completely awake surrounded in mana, wounded at the stomach area and holding a severed arm in his hand. "V- I mean, master! What happened? What happened to Osiris?" Velios just stood there in the middle of the circle of blood that had been formed, staring at the wall in the direction in front of him. When Vadh went to look in the same direction, the only thing he saw was a slim trail of blood going towards the wall where another cloud of smoke was located. The only conclusion was that Osiris had somehow got sent flying into the wall but Vadh had no idea of how that could possibly have happened. "Hey, Osiris, are you okay?" Vadh screamed out.

No answer was received as the two of them began fighting for real. Osiris came straight back at him with a kick to his face which Velios had no time to block. The two of them kept on exchanging mana infused attacks at each other. This would be the first time Velios has got to fight with another individual capable of using magics aside from the reaper. Even though Osiris had to prioritize mana towards healing the arm, he was still capable of keeping up with the pace of Velios, altough not fully rested either. Vadh couldn't even comprehend what was happening and he was himself witnessing a battle between two individuals with decent mastery of mana. To him, the two of them were in a realm of their own. The mana of the two increased as the battle continued. "Show me what you got, human!" Osiris screamed out as his right arm had finally grown back, punching him again which Velios swiftly duck under. Velios didn't want to show it but he had a hard time adapting to the mana infused attacks. Even the speed would have him troublesome and that combined with the strong and fierce mana that felt like it was verberating throughout and inside his whole body. The only thing he could think of, the first thing his instinct told him was surprisingly not to try and dodge, but to increase the amount of mana, condensing it and adding as much fire power as possible with it.

Osiris noticed an immediate difference, but could not accurately notice what exactly happened. What he saw was that the amount of mana total had increased but the size of it had become smaller. It also changed from a white color to a slightly red color, altough not a massive different. As Osiris continued to fight, he did not decide to trust his gut feeling that something was wrong as he was to concentrated on the actual fight. He did notice only shortly after that the advantage he had suddenly dissapeared. Every attack of his own felt weaker than usual on contact and he started getting the same burning feeling everytime he even got close to him. It reminded him of the exact burning sensation he got from Velios' initial counter attack. Osiris, proud on the capabilities of his ability, did not know how quick he would fall due to the rapid evolution the human race was capable of. Even if Velios could no longer conflict any serious damage on him enough to defeat him, Osiris decided to gather distance by steping back for a moment, preparing for a big attack. Only to look back, he noticed that Velios was out of site, but did not know where. Feeling a presence sneaking up from behind, he instinctively charged up an attack, aiming for a counter. All he found however, was traces of mana. Seeing as it was only a distraction, he quickly tried to turn himself around again, fully anticipating that Velios would stand there. He saw glimpses of Velios mana to the side and prepared another counter. Focusing all of the mana in his hand once again as he rotated his body with a wide and strong stance in his leg.

A sharp sensation was felt behind the knees as he got slashed. He felt his strong and stable legs quickly buckle and fall down as they couldn't be walked with anymore. Staring at Velios in front of him, a punch thrown with such power and mana behind it, he began fearing for his life. He wasn't sure if he was going to survive. The punch landed perfectly straight on the face of Osiris who was still falling down to the ground. A massive shockwave was produced and the dense and rich mana attack wasn't enough for Velios as he had to use the remaining of his mana storage to attack with fire magic aswell. The attack created a huge blast of fire, big enough to burn off the top half of the body if not defended. After the attack, Velios just stood there over the unmoving body with over half of the head missing and a body completely burnt to a crisp. Velios whom was still tired and not fully recovered from his last training, fell face first onto the ground, unconscious once again. Vadh who had to take cover back into the corridor walked into the room once it became quiet, mostly indicating that the fight had stopped. Just as he entered the room before he was able to see anything, he decided to shout at his arrival. "You bastard, Osiris! You better not have killed... Him..." He was shocked at the sigth he saw at his arrival. Both of them were passed out, altough Velios with only a weak mana while you could mistake Osiris for a dead person.

"He got me good." The mouth of Osiris had healed only to speak, the rest of the body would take much longer. Vadh just stared at the scene which was in front of him. Even for his standards, after all the people he had killed, he still dared to show his opinion. "Gross." Vadh's stare showed clearly that he was disgusted. Osiris only laughed as a response to it. "You sure got beat up bad by that brat, huh?" It was clearly said to mock him for losing the battle, but Osiris did not forget who decided to run away. "What kind of slave are you if you can't even help your master in battle?" He had a smug look on his face. "You little-" Vadh got immediately irritated from what he said, as a result he decided to start punching the defenseless Osiris in front of him. "Hey, stop it. I don't want to have to waste even more time and mana recovering." With the assist of Osiris silence after having said that, Vadh eventually stopped as he calmed down. The two of them just sat there, looking up at the roof, talking to eachother on what to do next. All Vadh wanted was for both of them to get out of the dungeon for once while Osiris seemed to want to talk about different stuff as if they were friends. The rest of the time in the dungeon was spent with the two of them talking and making deals all meanwhile Velios was asleep. In the end, the two of them had succesfully survived the dungeon and the encounter with the final boss of it, Osiris the generous.
