In a world where everyone is a slave, someone is born who cannot be controlled. At the same time, an unstoppable villain rises on a quest for revenge. But the truth is darker than he ever imagined, and now he must face an unbeatable enemy — including himself.

Bruno was a young man born on Earth, the son of an influential modern Emperor. Despite having everything money could buy and receiving the best and most rigorous training to succeed his father, he chose the opposite path, defying his family’s ruthless rule.
The price of his innocence? A merciless death and the complete erasure of his existence by the deity controlling his fate. On Earth, the law of the powerful was absolute; a slave could never rebel.
But then, he wakes up again.
He’s reborn in a world of cultivation, where freedom was promised to those strong enough to claim it. Now, he could soar like a free bird and carve his own destiny... or so he thought.
The harsh reality of this new world soon showed him how insignificant he still was. He realized he had only changed masters.
The freedom he sought was an illusion. The heavenly laws treated everyone as servants, and their rules were unbreakable. Bruno learned this bitter truth after losing everything that made him happy due to an unjust rule.
But who was he to question?
Hopeless, Bruno died... and was reborn as Alm, an unstoppable villain. With a soul poisoned by pain and vengeance, he sowed chaos across the universe. Planets were destroyed, countless lives taken, and his name became synonymous with terror.
A hero rose to oppose him, wielding a sacred sword of hope. People from all corners of the universe united against Alm, raising their voices and weapons to stop the villain who defied the heavens.
But Alm was no longer just fighting for revenge. He was challenging the heavenly laws that sought to control him, fighting fate and all living beings.
And against all odds... the sacred sword shattered. The alliance of the entire universe was defeated.
The villain won!
Now, Alm found himself alone in the empty void of a dead universe, facing his own inner demons. Who could be more ruthless to him than himself?
“What have I done?”
At that moment, the doors of truth opened to him.
Everyone was a puppet of a supreme figure, an entity that manipulated minds and even the heavenly laws.
“I will find you, no matter where you are!”
Thus, the last emissary of the true Heaven’s Will awakened. Alm, who once only relied on his sheer will and rage, now had a system to guide him. But his opponent was an immortal existence, above even the heavens.
The villain who destroyed an entire universe now faced a new beginning. He discovered that the universe he devastated was just a tiny grain of sand in an infinite cosmos, where countless other universes existed.
And so begins the legendary tale of the villain’s rise... and the Sacred Round God? A strange Duality of Shadows existed within one person.
But this time, he wouldn’t be alone.

To clear up any potential confusion or frustration, here are some key points about the story. I’ll avoid major spoilers, but a few things will be revealed.
You might find this concerning at first, but just check the book cover—it shows the main character and his only partner. She first appears at 10 years old, but rest assured, there’s no inappropriate content or early romance.
At around 13, SHE starts developing feelings for the protagonist, but he doesn’t respond until she’s an adult. With her determined personality, she tries to seduce him at 17/18, but it doesn’t work. Their relationship only happens much later.
The book has nods to other works, with my own spin on them, and focuses on avoiding elements I find problematic in other stories.
Lastly, the beautiful book cover was commissioned and created by HDIArt.
As always, here comes the shameless author's review. Well, for those who read my other books, you can expect a lot of comedy. Sure, the first chapter is kinda dark, but it is only to set up the story beyond. From the second onwards, the light environment takes place, and the adventure starts for real. There will be no Harem, and you won't find that every pebble on the side of the street has a Chinese name, either. I mean, it is literally another universe, so how can everything have Chinese names? It makes no sense! Hahaha! Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.
Now that I've read over 500 chapters, I'll give a more detailed opinion on the book. If you've read any of the author's other famous books and decided to give this one a chance, I would say that although this book has many similar characteristics, like hilarious moments and unexpected twists, it has a different vibe. At times, it is darker, and the focus on action and adventure is much more prominent. In summary, this book starts off very well; then, the world-building and character development proceed in an interesting way, and I personally had no idea which direction the author would take. Unlike all the books I've read, the secondary characters are not one-dimensional and develop and change through interactions with the protagonist. The romance is very well developed, as we see the girl grow, develop her personality, and her feelings blossom organically. Now, being a bit more detailed; this may contain some spoilers, but I tried not to spoil anything. If you want a general summary and don't mind knowing a few things: In volumes 1 and 2, the foundation of the story is presented, and I found the paths taken to be interesting and fun. The author was still finding the book's tone and experimenting with things; this is natural for something different from his other works. Maybe the events were too frenetic and fast; I would easily read double the chapters with the same story, but it wasn't poorly developed, just that some might find it bothersome. In volumes 3, the story begins to give the first hints of its direction. The book starts focusing on adventures and fights with a light touch of comedy, and the girl starts to develop her feelings smoothly. In volume 4, a great adventure unfolds, with several suffocating moments. The new characters are excellent, and I found the end of this volume to be the best of all until then, only surpassed later by volume 6. In volume 5, the beginning still maintains the sense of adventure from the previous volume. But then things calm down, and in this volume, the girl shines and fully develops. She is a teenager who shows her traumas, distortions, and various internal problems. Then, the protagonist has to set her on the right path. In the end, we see that little girl become a woman and the most reliable person for the protagonist. The end of the volume left me very happy and surprised. Volume 6 is the conclusion of the big arc, where numerous problems and other minor arcs are finally resolved; or almost. In this volume, the couple finally forms excellently; we see their relationship gradually grow and become hotter and hotter. Then, finally, all the mortal world arcs, started and developed since the beginning of the book, are concluded.
Start of story is very promising. If you have read other books by the author, then you will find the same great humorous banter. For people that have not read authors books then you will often times experience huge laughs in the otherwise nicely built cultivation world. For now the MC's are similar yet different from "Death and me" MC's.
The first chapter immerses the reader in a serious and dense atmosphere, leaving them intrigued about the direction the story will take. However, by the end of the second chapter, the narrative takes on a fun tone. As the plot progresses, the madness intensifies - and this, in the best possible way. This book promises to be a promising read. I recommend everyone to give it a chance, especially if you're looking for something fun and different, with an intriguing blend of familiar elements and unexpected surprises.
So funny! I had my doubt after the first chapter since it looked somewhat dark at first. However, it soon changed from two onwards. I just feel like the cover truly doesn't depict the story well. Where is my chubby MC?! Anyway, it is truly worth a reading.
I'm here because author said in discord it is very similar to his death book yet different. Indeed, he didn't hold back on the comedy, and they are just as funny as rean and roan's antics. kkkkworth give it a try.
This is an absolute great read. 🥰✨❤️I love the suspense and everything this book does to my emotions. Good job, author✨❤️
Another great novel within the eastern cultivation genre by our loving author, Suiyan. Definitely a nice read. 10/10 would recommend.
I've been really enjoying the story so far. Suiyan is one of my favorite authors. I loved reading wisp, death and me, and everyone has a crown. This story has hooked me just like those

If it’s Suiyan, you know you in for a laugh! He wrote Death and me and Wisp… it was all funny! Let’s get this started
The first chapter was a bit confusing to fully grasp what was happening. There was a sense that the narrative was telling the story of three distinct characters. However, as you progress in the reading, it becomes evident that these characters are, in fact, different stages in the life of the same protagonist. Over time, the plot becomes more engaging, revealing itself as a work that blends humor, unexpected twists, and at the same time, a sense of familiarity.

Free Palestine The Palestinians are now suffering from continuous bombing. Thousands of them have died, thousands have been injured and displaced from their homes. Hundreds of children have died and become orphans. Even the wounded who are in the hospital have been bombed. Israel claims to be the victim, and it is the same Israel that occupied the land of the Palestinians. Where is the humanity? You claim to be the victim and you are the occupier, the usurper.
Incredibly funny, I can't even believe it turned out like this after the first chapter. The interaction between the two MC's and the misunderstandings they keep getting with Ruri and the others is just hilarious! I'm just somewhat confused about the cover as it doesn't really depict the real thing. Oh well, keep it going!
