Do You Think I'M a Foolish? (Part 3)

Fortunes change quickly, and people's bad nature always lead them to vent their emotions on those weaker than them.

"I can introduce someone, but I wonder, what level are Young Master Sabate's artifacts is?" Yannis was still somewhat cunning. Considering Mikel's background, if he needed to find someone to repair his artifacts, he could have easily done so. There might be some hidden motives behind this.

"What do you think?" Hubert countered.

Yannis took a moment to think and then chuckled, "Probably Spiritual level, I presume?"

"Heh, you guessed wrong," Hubert said smugly. "It's a advanced level artifact."

Yannis was taken aback, thinking he had meant a higher class of artifacts, but when he heard Hubert's follow-up explanation, he swallowed his astonishment. An advanced level artifact was indeed rare, and while the market dont have many good ones, but its still possible to buy them, It is necessary to trouble your self like that?

"An advanced level artifacts should be quite repairable. Why would Young Master Sabate sound so upset?" Yannis inquired.

"If they were easy to repair, would I be telling you this?" Hubert sneered, giving him a condescending look. "This artifact is the first one given to him by his elder. It must be repaired to be exactly the same as the original. No differences are acceptable. Do you understand?"

After being looked down upon by a child twice, Yannis suppressed the anger in his heart and said, "That's why it's hard to find."

His heart thumped, and he suddenly realized that a golden opportunity might be lying in front of him. Mikel cared so deeply about his artifact; it must have special meaning to him. If he could assist in solving this issue, he might leave a profound impression on Mikel.

Yannis believed that Mikel was a man of honor. Once he gained his recognition, he would likely be included in Mikel's circle.

Yannis grew more excited the more he thought about it. The immediate task was to find an artificer skilled in repairing artifacts.

"If you trust me, Young Master Sabate, I can help look for someone," Yannis said calmly to Mikel, who appeared utterly bored.

"Just you, you think you can find someone? Mikel has already tried to find several in the capital, but none could guarantee a hundred percent restoration. In a place like Big Apple City, what kind of good artificers could there be?" Hubert didn't think highly of it.

"If you don't try, how will you know?" Yannis was unfazed.

Mikel looked at him and said, "If you manage to find someone, I won't forget you."

"I'll do my best to find someone. Rest assured, Young Master Sabate," Yannis said excitedly.

...

Samuel had an odd expression. Their conversation hadn't been whispered, and he was relatively close by. He couldn't help but eavesdrop and peek, learning that this Young Master Sabate was here in Big Apple City to repair his artifact. It suddenly reminded him of Amalia.

If Amalia could get close to Mikel, with him supporting Amalia, they wouldn't need to worry about others trying to interfere with her artificer's shop in the future. However, there were significant risks involved.

Mikel was demanding a one-hundred-percent restoration, no discrepancies whatsoever. To be honest, Samuel didn't know the extent of Amalia's skills in repairing artifacts. Without a deep understanding of Amalia's abilities, rushing into such a commitment could harm Amalia more than helping her.

After weighing the pros and cons, Samuel decided to temporarily put aside the idea of introducing Amalia to Mikel. He would first see if the artificer Yannis found could do the job.

After the gathering ended, Mikel and Hubert declined Yannis's offer to have someone escort them. They drove away on their own.

"Mikel, isn't Yannis from the Yoder family? Why is he being so attentive? Could he know something about your younger uncle?" Hubert glanced back at the villa.

"Few people know about my younger uncle's situation. He's not capable of finding out," Mikel dismissed the notion. His reason for coming to Big Apple City this time was twofold: to repair his artifact and to find his younger uncle.

Hubert shuddered at the mention of Mikel's younger uncle and quickly changed the subject. "Are you sure you want to let Yannis give it a try? What if the person he finds ends up ruining your precious artifact?"

"Do you think I'm that foolish?" Mikel raised an eyebrow, knowing what Hubert was getting at.

Hubert chuckled.
