Hazel part 2

I turned the shield on and picked up a few pots and pans to prevent the rain from dripping on the floor. Yeah, I've got a few leaks in my roof, I gotta repair those after this rain shower. I keep telling you that but I never do it, that's the problem. I do want to get it fixed, though it's very annoying to have all those leaks above your head. Oh well, it's time to grab my drawing stuff and think about other things than rain.

The radio I own won't work when it's raining anyway, so I'm gonna take my mind off of this rain and draw what I saw this morning. You gotta know that I went to the beach to relax a little, although I don't really like crowded places. The beach was wonderful. A father with his two young sons went swimming in the sea, and it was lovely to see. They played tag and many more games. I can remember the face of the youngest one very well. A cute little tip-tilted nose, 2 blue eyes, and a head full of blond hair. The boy was playing with his older brother, a boy with dark hair and brown eyes, but with the same tip-tilted nose as his younger brother. Their dad was very muscular, but I couldn't see his face. He was supporting the youngest because the child couldn't swim that good yet. I imagined the place again it was so peaceful and yet playful. I began to draw first the person and then their surroundings.

The drawing was quite good, if I may say so myself. I've been perfecting my style over the past 5 years. That's actually since I moved in here. On my 18th birthday, I moved away from my parents and the city. I didn't really like living in the city anyway. So much noises every day and never an actual silent night. It was making me tired, and it harmed my work and inspiration and my physical well-being. So when I turned 18, I decided to move out to a cottage that I had seen in the newspaper. It wasn't expensive and I know why now. It's near the woods and it has many leaks so your house is all damp in the morning when it has been raining all night long.

I put my drawing stuff away and went to bed wondering about the noise in the garden. What that meant with the gate. Was I losing my mind, or was something really there?
