Isyx is actually a prince?

After she turned on the shield, I went home. It was getting late as well, after all. My mother would be worrying about me already like she would always do when I vanished early in the morning and came home late. I could feel the rain coming so I tried to hurry but I couldn't stop thinking about her. The beautiful girl with chestnut like brown hair that waved down to her middle. The hazel eyes and the tip tilted nose with a few freckles on it because it was summer. She made me think about another elf I once met, but this girl is very different from the elf. Sure, she knows her way around magic, but she uses it in more inventive ways. She's very clever, and she senses a lot of things going on around her. But she also takes time to take in the beauty of many little things. I know she doesn't know I exist, but I wish she would know. Maybe one day, if I'm not so shy anymore, I'll show myself. I'm an elf as well, but because I'm using my power to be invisible, she's never seen me.

When I got home, my mom started yelling at me that I shouldn't be out so late because many creatures in these woods don't like elves. "Even if you use your powers, they can still smell you, let alone see your magic."

"yes mom I know, but she's so intriguing to watch."

"When are you gonna show her that you're the one at the gate?"

"I don't know, mom, you know I'm shy." "I know I'm the prince and all, but still, speaking to a lot of strangers is way different than speaking to her."

"Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go learn about magic some more in my room."

I went to my room and shut the door behind me. Finally, I had some time to let my thoughts run through my head and calm down after everything that happened today. I lay down on my bed and eventually fall asleep.
