Chapter 73 (Part 4): Danté's POV (Final)

Damian and some more of my men met me outside of Jordan Cross' house. It wasn't nearly as big as my mansion, but it was bigger than the average town house; it was a two story place, surrounded by a wall.

I found it absolutely stupid that this man had no security, especially since he lived alone. He must be f*cking cocky, thinking he could protect himself.

How hilarious.

I put on my black leather gloves and got out of my car, slamming the door shut. Damian followed me to the gate, then handed me the tie that I had asked him to pick up from the storage room.

I gripped it in my fist as I strode through the gate and onto the front porch. Once there, I rang the doorbell.

Damian raised an eyebrow, to which I responded with a shrug. "What? At least you can never say that I don't have a sense of humor."
