Chapter 4: Human nor beast nor dragon.

Alvana stared at the blue skinned kid in front of him and he couldnt help but ask "why do you resemble the dragon baby so much?"

"Because he was the dragon baby" Elena answered 

How is it possible for him to have grown up to this point?" Alvana asked

Elena sat on a huge stone and said, "A Dragons growth, celestial dragon to be precise, can be influenced by its surrounding. Most celestial dragons like damp and moist environments and the forest is one of such environments. so the baby's growth was affected when we were at the forest"

"Does that not mean the he will be older than me in the future"

"No, when he grow up to 15 years of age, he'll start to grow normally"

"oh" Alvana looked at the kid and said " i think we should give him a name"

"yeah, sure" Elena nodded in approval 

"How about the name Aster" the kid who had been quiet all the time suddenly said. "Why aster?"

"The name sounds cool"

Alvana  "....."

"Aster it is" Elena said

"Thanks mom" aster hugged Elena

Alvana sighed and said " mother, we should move faster"

Elena nodded and she took aster hand as they continued their journey.

After walking for 30 minutes, they finally got to the city gate.

" Wait here, you two" Elena instructed as she walked towards the guard.

"Hiii" Elena said with a seductive smile

The guard couldn't help but swallow a lump of saliva and even more when Elena licked her finger in a seductive way.

Alvana stared at his mother and thought "is this still the mother I know".

The guard comported himself and asked "you are new here?"

Elena licked her lips and said, Half whispering "yh, I'm new here l, I have come from afar with my brother's children and we need a place to stay this night".

The guard stared at Elena's half exposed chest and thought "where did someone as beautiful as this woman come from, if I could just get her in bed with me".

Of course that was just a thought, if the people of hope city hear that he was intimate with one of them, he wouldn't even know how he died. The last gate guard before him died mysteriously after sleeping with the a lady in hope city.

Thinking of this, the guard couldn't help but shiver and he immediately hoped for this woman to leave him be..

The guard took out a token from his pocket and quickly gave it to Elena

"When you enter the city, give this to a man called dead eye, he will Know what to do"

Elena smiled and said " thanks"

She then moved closer to the man making her chest touch him, and moaned slightly as she moved her mouth close to the guard ear "if you need someone to deal with that" she said while pointing downwards.

The guard was screaming inside while he was calm outside, if he was not outside on duty, he would have tore this woman clothes, he thought...

The guard nodded and quickly beckoned for the next person.

Meanwhile, alvana was dumbstruck, he felt his view of the world had shattered "is this my mother" he thought

Elena snapped alvana out of his thoughts and said "I know what I did there was inappropriate, but if i didnt do things that way, we might not be attended to today, ok?"

Alvana stared at elena and nodded.

When they got to the apartment dead eye, booked for them, they quickly settled so as to plan how they would get the primal pearl.

As they were about to start planning, they heard an announcement

" The city Lord is coming, everyone is to come out of their apartment and bow to the city Lord. Going against this will result in a punishment from the city Lord"

"We won't bow" aster and alvana said together.

Alvana was confused as to why they just decide not to bow

"Why? Is it not just to bow?"

"It's a taboo for a celestial dragon prince to bow to a human" Aster replied

"Taboo? You're just a 2 days looking like 10years old kid, how did you know the taboo of the celestial dragon? And how do you know you're a prince???"

"Uhh.....i...I just know" aster answers while looking away.

Elena sighed and said "alvana, you can't bow too, it's a taboo for you, aster and I to bow to humans especially the higher-ups, they're termed as impure and we must not bow to an impure."

"What do you mean we? Alvana asked

"Hmmm" Elena sighed

"I am a dragon maiden, my mother was a human and my father, a celestial dragon as I was told by my late foster parents"

Alvana's knees turned weak at the revelation

"I'm sorry for hiding this from you"

"So that explains my white hair, my blue eyes or the fact that I could speak and understand your language"

"No" Elena said

"No? What do you mean no?

" It doesn't explain any of that"

" I....I...I don't understand" alvana was getting more confused.

"You are neither human nor dragon" aster explained

"What do you.....I mean how'd you know that?" Alvana asked

"It's obvious, you don't have the aura of a human nor beast nor dragon"aster replied

Elena said " more like a being out of this world, one that shouldn't belong here

Alvana knees went weak as he fell....
