Dominique's POV
It was over in minutes. They stormed the estate, it was a carefully coordinated effort. These rogue wolves weren't like the others, caught somewhere between wolf and human form. They were all in their human guise, wearing military fatigues. The front and back door were bashed in simultaneously, we never had a chance. I remembered screaming Griffin's name, and then the prick of a needle, and everything went black.
When I woke up I had a killer migraine, and was locked in some type of windowless room. I wasn't chained, thank the Goddess, so the first thing I did was get up, despite the pain crushing my skull, and investigate my surroundings. There wasn't much to see. It was a bare room with a cot, a connecting bathroom with a shower and toilet, and not a lot else. A cell. I was a prisoner.
Again.
