Griffin's POV
Lucinda. I hadn't seen her for years. I wasn't even sure exactly how long it had been. What could she possibly want from me, I wondered. The last time we had spoken, she had actually seemed fine. Better than fine. She was dating some guy named Leo, and she had inherited the castle where she was now holding Mia. It seemed bizarre to me that she would go to the trouble of abducting someone just so that we could catch up.
"I'll take care of it James," I assured him, "Don't worry, she won't hurt Mia. She just wants to talk to me. I'll go, she and I will have a little chat, catch up, and Mia will be back home in no time." I thought that settled the matter until I looked at Dominique. She clenched her fists in rage, and shot me a look of pure fury.
