First of all, this is the sequel to my previous book, 'The Exiled Lady's Rumoured Tyrant.'.

Rei was a high-ranked lady official in the Qin Empire who was exiled from her empire due to a planned scheming.
 
After spending for about two months in a neighbourhood Kingdom that was said to be ruled by an evil tyrant, her name was cleared and was finally able to return to her homeland.

With the two months spent with that said evil tyrant, she started developing a special to him. Despite that, Rei still decided to return to her homeland.

However, an unexpected event happened, Rei was assaulted and nearly died, the said evil tyrant saved her and sustained a serious injury.

And so... Their story continues...

That Time When He Conquered The Qin Empire.

And so, after Rei calmed down her emotions, she told the King everything regarding all the weird dreams she experienced over the past few weeks.

"So... The most recent dream is about Ben brutally killing three soldiers..." said the King, double checking what Rei just told him.

Rei sheepishly nodded, that dream he mentioned was definitely the most disturbing dream of all.

"I see... From all the dreams you told me just now, I have noticed a unique pattern..." said the King with a thoughtful look.

"What is it?" Rei asked, slightly curious.

"All of the dreams shared a similarity. All of them were from the perspective of a dying person." said the King.

"Ah... Now you mentioned it... Yes, it is. Why can't I realise it any earlier?" said Rei with a slightly surprised look.

"I guess all those dreams were just too shocking that you didn't notice that detail." said the King.
