Chapter 10

"So, it's true you will go back to Japan? My mom told me last night." Gabriel asked Rei for confirmation. "Eh? You will go back to Japan? Why I don't know about this? Since when you make these decisions?" Rei sighed about how many questions her friends asked her. "Can you relax for a second, Ben? It's not that I will never come back here. My mother told me about this stuff a few days ago. We've been discussed since then; I will go back and start a high school life next year, not now. So, don't worry." They kept talking until the bell rang.

When she's already at home after returning from school, she's done the homework and done a revision before her tutor arrived. She heard a knock in front of her room, "Rei, can I come in?" It's her mother's voice. When she heard her mother, she got up from the chair and open the door. "What is it, mother?" When she looked her mother, she saw someone behind her. "I want to introduce you to someone." When her mother introduced them, she told her that person will be her new tutor. Her tutor's name is Misha; she is a university student. After that, her mother leave both of them.

"From what I heard, you are top student in your class and school, Is that true?" Misha trying to have a conversation with Rei before she starts tutor her. "Yeah, it's thanks to my previous tutor. She taught me a lot of formulas, and it's easy to remember everything she told me." Misha smiled when she heard about that, "Oho~ I got a rival but I'm not surprised because my mother's method of teaching is superb. Thank you for saying all that stuff about her. I thought I will hear some negative things from you." For the moment Rei heard 'mother' she's a bit confused, "Mother? My previous tutor is your mother?" Misha laughed because of Rei's reaction: "Oh my, is it my surprise that you are working? Yeah, that was my mother. My mother told me to replace her as your tutor. Don't worry, my method is same with that old lady or maybe better." After they done talking about each other and feel boundaries between them, Misha starts tutoring Rei.

After Misha done with tutoring, Rei and her mother sat on the couch because her mother want to discuss something with her. "How is your new tutor? Is she okay?" She nodded. "It's good. I think I can be friend with her. She doesn't want me to be formal with her, just like her mother. It's not painful in the ass to deal with them. I hope that she can come with us back to Japan next year. I like her; she's like a big sister to me." When her mother heard about what her daughter said, she couldn't believe it because her daughter liking someone in such a short time are rare. "You know it's very rare to you to like someone and befriend with someone in a short time. I see; she's got your trust. I will try to discuss with her mother about what you told me. I think maybe her mother will approve because they're from Japan but Misha never goes to Japan." After the conversation, they make a decision to have dinner outside.

Rei thinks a lot of things since her mother talked to her about going back to Japan: 'Maybe I will bump into her? Is she having a boyfriend? Is she happy? Is she already forget about me? Is she still hate me? What will I do if I see her? I hope my heart will be fine when that day comes.' She hopes that everything will be okay.
