Testing, Testing, One, Two, Oh No

A few weeks later . . .

I was so wrong. I was so, so, very so wrong. I wasn't cut out for this job. It's more stressful then it seems. I was so panicked at Dr. Simmons's retirement party that i made promises that i couldn't keep and now it's all over for me. I was wrong for this job and i should have said it when i had the chance to do so right in front of Dr. Simmons himself. Now i could never get that chance every again. Why did it have to be me? Why was i the one who was picked instead on a raise? Just then, there was a knock on the door. "Come in", I said. The door opened as Jessie walked into my office. "I heard then news and i wanted to cheer you up", Jessie said. "There's nothing you can do sadly. This was all my fault. Simple as that", I said. "The pubic need to know that your new here and your not Dr. Simmons. That wasn't your fault you know", Jessie said. "But all the backlash is towards me. It's my fault that our most recent experiments were a failure. I just wasn't right for this job", I said as tears then started to drip down my face. "It's ok Liz, we all make mistakes, some good, some bad, some very bad but we make up from them. Even animals make mistakes you know as well", Jessie said. Just then, i had an idea. I ran to one of my drawers in my desk and found the serum from before. "What is that", Jessie said. "An old experiment of Dr. Simmons. He wanted me to work on it after he retired and i think i just found out how to get this to work", I said in a very exited voice. "Well and that is", Jessie said. "He never got it to work with human DNA but he didn't try anything with animal DNA", I said. "How is that any different from human DNA", Jessie said. "If my calculations are correct witch there is no need to assume because they always are, the animal DNA could stabilize the ingredients better and hold them together and thus, finish the experiment", I said in an exited voice. "This is a huge breakthrough in science itself. All of the Simmons center's money and fame will be back if this works", Jessie said. "There's only one problem", I said. "And what is that", Jessie said. "We need a very rare type of DNA that is only found in the deepest jungles of India but however, there might be a way to stabilize it with just a lizards or a monkey's DNA", I said. "Is this a bad thing", Jessie said. "If i do a normal DNA, there could be terrible side effects such as an evil spirit and would want to reek havoc or they just don't wanna do anything but it's hard to tell for now", I said. "Should i get someone to try and find the DNA", Jessie said. "Not until we know what this DNA can do but first, we need to run some test first", I said. "Do you need human testers", Jessie said. "No, we can't risk people's life's if this thing is harmful, i do have an idea though", I said.

"We bring on the lab rats", Jessie said. "Yes, the first super rats, there stronger then us, faster and smarter and there living", I said. "On a rat island", Jessie said interrupting me. "No were just testing them in this basement", I said. "That makes more sense", Jessie said. "Lets do this thing", I said. The rats were in there testing tubes as i brought out a very small amount of the serum with the lizard DNA. I injected the first rat with it and nothing happened for a while. "It's it suppose to have nothing change physically for a while", Jessie said. "It should effect the user right away, it could give them a headache for a while but nothing beyond that is what me and Dr. Simmons figured out", I said. That is rather interesting", Jessie said. Just then, the rats eyes turned yellow as sparks began to come out of it. It broke the glass in the testing tube but the rat couldn't get out. It tried to break through but just couldn't fit in. Jessie then ran to it and pushed the rat in a cage she was holding. "We can't have you running around this place, the health inspector would disapprove of it", Jessie said. "That was way too close", I said in a panicked voice. "So that didn't go all too well", Jessie said. "With enough control, it could work but we need more...bone structure for the serum to work better but i don't want to use human donners", I said. "Maybe you don't have too", Jessie said as she reached for some notes of hers. "What are you talking about, we need human like forms for this to maybe work", I said as i put my hands on my face. "What about a robot", Jessie said as she showed me her notes. I read these notes and it all clicked for me. It was so obvious. We just make robots for this to work. This could be huge in the world of science. We could have so much back that we lost and all that. "I got it, we can make human robots and put the serum there instead", I said. "That's what i was thinking", Jessie said. "We need to get started right away, there's no millisecond to lose", I said. "But we do need a whole lot of parts for this to work however", Jessie said. "True. Lets try and find the needed parts for this as this project could take a whole lot of time", I said. "I'll see what i can find", Jessie said as she left the room. "This is gonna be good, i will get my name in lights, everyone will respect me as a great CEO. Everyone will respect me as to hate me and this company. I will show them who is boss and above them in everyway. No one will even try and stop me now. If only Tom truly saw me now instead of that perfect Zeta. All make sure they bow to me. If they try and stop me, all just take everything they love so dear. Even that newborn of them", I said as i then went to my computer and opened up some sites and to a picture of there newborn son. "If he tries to interfere, then hello...Cyrus to me. Hehe", I said as i closed the computer.
