She was naturally tired and couldn't bother by anything but to get a peaceful sleep.

In, the uppermost floor of Yales Corporation, Chase Stark saw her boss smiling like an idiot, still holding on to the phone near his ear.Even, when the other party had already hung up.

She couldn't help but feel disgusted by his smile

She even had the urge to strangle him to his death but she couldn't. After all, she is just an employee and he her boss.

However, Trevor was still smiling holding on to the phone, oblivious to his surroundings.

He clutched his foot in both his hands and started hoping in pain on his left foot.

Trevor glared daggers at her before hoping to his chair.

"Do you want me to make a handsome man like me a cripple?"He asked while massaging his right foot gently.

"You have been smiling like an idiot for almost ten minutes.If, i didn't knew you any better.I would have thought that you have fallen in love."She said mockingly while sitting opposite him across the long study table.

"May be, i have."Trevor replied in a low voice.His face was all-smiles and his eyes held a rare trace of affection.

Chase was stunned when she heard him.

She lowered her head slightly.Her eyes were not visible to Trevor in this posture, if he had seen her eyes.He would have caught a sign of extreme loneliness and sadness from Chase.

Chase looked up the next second, as if those emotions have not appeared earlier in her eyes.

"Is that the reason you asked her to come earlier than the original reporting date/"Chase asked in a low voice, unbeknownst to herself, her tone carried a hint of anticipation.

"I wanted to spend some time with her to get to know her better. Who would have known that she would get injured?"Trevor said in a disappointed tone.

"I can't find any information about her.It was all blocked.What if she is a dangerous woman?"Chase asked in a wary tone.

"Then, its even better .Playing with dangers is much even more exciting."Trevor replied honestly.

A hint of disappointment flashed across her eyes.Then, she abruptly stood and waled to the door of the office.

"Then I WISH YOU GOOD LUCK."She said in an estranged voice.

Chase was about to go out when Trevor's voice sounded out from behind her.

"Aren't you going to help me?"He asked expectantly.

"I have a lost of work.Unlike, someone who just knows how to fool around?"Chase replied mockingly.
