“WHAT!” Enid demanded, “Nyla’s axes are made from the Althea piece?”
After Rowan had taken Nyla and disappeared, Nolan commanded the Guarde to prepare horses for them to ride out and find them. He walked into the palace to gear up when the young Sybils followed him in.
“Why didn’t you tell us?” Enid asked as Nolan picked up a sword.
“I don’t think that’s a valid question.” Nolan replied, unsheathing the sword slightly to look at the sharp blade before sheathing it again and strapping it to his belt.
Enid sighed. Nolan was right, if Nyla had said anything it would have made things all the easier for Rowan to find it. He still could not believe that it was Rowan, of all people, who was behind everything.
