I walk out of a shop carrying a paper bag which holds my new purchase. Had recently aquired (3 minutes ago) a game called Flow of the Universe which was ment to surpass the bar made by Throne Revolution.
For the cheap price of two swords and an arm you too can also get this game at Reginald's Ransome. Or you could just be normal and buy it for $52 dollars or if your stores are sold out then you can get it for $114 from the people that bought multiple copies.
Honestly I feel like it will end up disappointing me. I liked playing Throne Revolution when it came out but then it became boring due to max level wizards and people having to use broken builds due to the lack of ego and bad drops.
It sucked only being able to fight the same person with a different mindset or just being nuked by magic. It also sucked having to grind a boss for a specific drop and then run to a location to do a small event to put the drop into the condition or form I wanted. Damn time limits and stupid conditions.
I made an outloud sigh. Throne Revolution ended up being bad but it was fun bad... if you ignore or can get past alot of its flaws...
Now that I think about it maybe Throne Revolution wasn't that good of a game. Maybe this game will be better than it.
I finally reach my home and by home I mean a not so house all for myself. Everytime I see it on a return trip I internally thank my grandfather for this gift.
I enter my small home and go to my room. I store my games here. I open the paler bag I wss carrying and take out the box that was titled Flow of the Universe.
"Why is your name so vauge?"
I open the box expecting to see a cartige or a disk or something I can put into my VR Drewm headset but its another VR Dream headset. I look up to a shelf I have and their are four headsets on the shelf all of which are a VR Dream headset.
"If I had a nickle for every time a game has its own custom VR Dream headset I would have 5 nickles and one regret."
I look at one of the headsets on the self that isn't associated with any game but js instead a default headset for games to be set to. I had never used it once as all the games I buy like to make me realize how useless the default headset is.
I decide to focus on the headset in my hands. Its a cool looking design of it looking like a helmet made of frozen lightning. The light blue colouring and not sharp but still jagged helmet was cool. I wonder why they put so much effort to make it look like this. The only other headset I have that compares designwise is Nebula and it just has a stary night pattern on it.
"I guess its time to play I guess."
I lift the helmet to place it on my head but stop. After a quick nap I'll play. I'm not going to let barely awake me try a game I'd get slaughtered like a common noob. Everyone knows that the only way to be slaughtered is like a pro.
One might think that if the problem is rest then I should use the VR Dream headset anyways because I'll be asleep while playing. Yes that is true but Its a simulated dream that makes me feel awake. Other than pain which is reduced my body in game will feel as if I were wide awake. I am not taking my current mindset into the game.
I text my pal that I'm taking a nap before playing the game and then fall asleep.
**3 hours later**
I open my eyes and I'm back to my prime. I lean up and do a quick mental test for myself. I then pick up the helmet and tell myself a few encouraging words.
"No mercy. Start every fight with a Diabolus ex Machina. Learn your gimick before learning your basics."
I don the helmet and lay on my back as my mind drifts into the game's immersive world.

I wake in a gray void. Its a nice dull colour. Some games I played usually start in a blinding white room which forces me to speedrun character creation. I once had to reset my character 3 times because I kept choosing the wrong options. I'm starting to hate my time in Throne Revolution.
[Insert Name]
Ah right my name. I always consistantly use a singular pattern with my name. A synonym of the word think and then Gauntlet. I do it for every game.
[Ponder Gauntlet]
It stands for exactly what it says. Ponder Gauntlet means to think of the piece of armour. Its just an empty pattern my friend caused me to pick up. Then a new screen opens before me.
[Select Power System]
[1. Blessing]
[2. Magic]
[3. Aura]
[4. Curse]
Thats it? They just ask?
"Curse of course. According to my pal I'll enjoy the Experience."
[Then please enjoy your tutorial]
"I'll try to."
I then feel like I'm getting dragged. As in my whole being is being pulled agressively. I move across the gray name selection to a new location in an instant. I had no time to comment or even yell at the agressive pull.
