I Figured You'd be Angry

"She won't speak to you…" Keagan didn't hear anything, thinking Alethia was still upset about Aoibhe's betrayal of her grandpa. Then again, she didn't overthink about it. It was not that bad. After all, Dacian was on the side of the new rulers of the vampires.

That reminded her of something. Keagan chuckled as she closed her eyes out of weakness again. "By Master, do you mean Dacian?"

"…no, his name is Artyom Kosarin, the to-be crowned king of the vampire race." Aoibhe smiled at Keagan's wide eyes. She rubbed the missy's head as she whispered to Keagan's ear. "Please surrender to his will and let him summon the night instead."

Artyom Kosarin? Keagan didn't recognize the name, but she knew the last name very well. It was the same family that Lev and Oleg hailed from. She didn't know if the man was directly related to the brothers—it didn't matter to her though. After all, the man would become her enemy the moment he decided to eradicate all humans.
