~Uncle, love me deeper~

‘It's so boring. When will the class be over? I want to go home. He must be in office.’ Ivy thought.

"What are you up to, Ivy? The professor will notice you," Ame whispered.

Ivy murmured, rolling her eyes, "Let him be. I'm just not interested in his lecture."

The professor abruptly called her name, "Ms. Ivy."

"Yes, professor," Ivy said with a sigh.

"What's the matter with you? You're not paying attention to what I'm saying," he said.

"Actually, professor, I'm not feeling well. Is it okay if I go out?" Ivy asked.

"Yes, take your time," he said.

Ivy got up and walked out of the room as soon as she got permission.

"Ame, what's up with her?" Joe asked.

"Actually, I don't know Joe," Ame faltered, "maybe she isn't feeling well."

Ivy emerged, but Liam and Zelda were already there. When she saw them, she raised her brows. ‘Are they in a relationship?’ Ivy thought to herself. Ivy shifted her gaze away from them, but Liam noticed her.

He called out her name, "Ivy."

Ivy waved as she gazed at him.

"OK, Zelda," Liam responded with a smile, "we'll discuss it later."

Zelda nodded and smiled. Ivy observed Zelda giving her a weird look and walked away. Ivy took a long breath and exhaled slowly; she didn't want to get in the way of them.

Liam approached Ivy and sat next to her.

"What's wrong, honey?" he said as he took her hand in his.

"I'm not in the mood to go to class," Ivy said.

"Why? Are you all right?" He asked.

"No, I'm not okay," Ivy said with a nod.

"What's the matter, honey?" He asked.

"There's something wrong with my heart," Ivy stated.

"What?" He said it, his voice strained.

Ivy said, "My heart belongs to someone."

"What?" he said, perplexed.

"So, what exactly are you saying? Ivy, are you serious?" He said.

"I'm in love, Liam," Ivy said with a smile and a nod.

He asked, his eyes widening, "Who is it, exactly? Where is that mystery man?"

Ivy responded with a smile, "Aaron is his name. He is, though, my uncle."

"Ivy, I'm afraid, but I can't take that," he replied, his face disappointed.

"Relax," Ivy responded, "he isn't my own uncle."

"Oh, then why are you calling him Uncle?" He asked.

"He was adopted by my grandfather. He is only five years older than I am," Ivy replied.

"Cool," he said, "Does he also live with you?"

"In fact, he does. But he isn't fond of me," Ivy said.

"What? That man has the audacity to disregard my Ivy's beauty," Liam said.

Ivy remarked, with a sigh and a roll of her eyes, "Liam, I can't lose him again. I think he likes me at times, but I also think he dislikes me at times."

"Again?" he asked.

"He was my first crush when I was 11," Ivy said. Liam burst out laughing when he heard me.

"At first, I assumed it was Joe. But now it's Aaron, who was your 11-year-old crush," he said while laughing.

"Do not laugh. I'm very worried about this because Aaron is an outstanding student. Will he be interested in me?" Ivy lamented.

"Don't be worried, my dear. He'll love you as well. But I'm thinking of something else," he said.

"What are you talking about?" Ivy asked.

"I'm worried my Ivy won't kiss me anymore," Liam remarked, winking at her.

"Obviously, no. There will be no more friends with benefits from now on," Ivy said.

"Yeah, I'm kind of done with this. I just want to settle down with someone. I really want to find love with someone," he said.

Ivy said, "Is that Zelda?"

He continued, with a smile, "I'll let you know when the time is right. Now allow me to drive you home."

Ivy gave him a nod and followed him. She didn’t want to stay here either. Her heart simply wanted to see Aaron. Then they got in the car and drove away. After some time, they arrived home.

Ivy stepped out of the car and was going to tell him to come inside. But then she noticed Aaron's car had come to a halt alongside her. Aaron emerged and glanced at her, then looked at Liam. He changed his facial expression when he noticed Liam, then gave Ivy a weird look and went inside.

"So he's Aaron?" asked Liam. Ivy nodded yes as she looked at Liam.

Liam said, "He looks really angry, babe."

"I'm not sure what's wrong with him," Ivy said.

"I think he's a little curious about us," Liam mockingly stated.

"Is that real? I have a hard time understanding him sometimes," Ivy said. Liam responded, "Go inside and talk."

"Thank you, Liam." Ivy expressed her gratitude.

"It's not necessary. Please feel free to contact me at any time, she said, claiming that Liam had left. Ivy dashed upstairs in a hurry. ‘Is he truly enraged?’ While thinking, Ivy walked upstairs.

"Ivy, why are you at home so early?" Suddenly, Tati came out of nowhere and asked.

"Mom," Ivy was going to say, but Aaron emerged from his room and approached us.

"I wasn't feeling well, Mom," Ivy explained. Aaron, on the other hand, didn't stop there; he walked downstairs, ignoring their talk. Ivy took a glance behind him. He didn't even return her stare. And now for the real deal: Ivy was feeling awful.

"Why, darling?" Tati said as she stroked my forehead. "It's not a serious situation, mom. Just a terrible headache," Ivy said.

"Okay, take a rest; I'll get someone to bring you something to eat," she added. Ivy nodded and smiled. But her gaze was drawn downstairs.

Aaron was scrolling through his phone. ‘Why is he so enraged right now? Is he enraged because of what I did this morning or because of Liam? When he heard about my condition, he didn't even look at me. My face flushed with anguish.’ Ivy thought while looking at him.

Ivy hurried into her room and slammed the door shut.

Aaron looked upstairs after hearing the sound of the door closing. ‘You didn't even feel like calling me to pick you up from college. It's fine if you don't call me, but you could contact your dad. I know; I'm simply a toy for you to play with whenever you want. When you've done playing, you return to your lover. It comes naturally to you. Why am I having all of these thoughts? I am familiar with her personality. Aaron, you must forget about the kiss.' Aaron thought with a stern face.

He shook his head and tried to focus on the phone again. But He was unable to focus. He took a glance at her door.

‘She stated that she was suffering from a headache. Does she take medicine? I don't think she will accept it. She is totally unconcerned about her health.’ Aaron thought.

Aaron's gaze shifted away from her door and he murmured to himself, ‘I'm not sure why I'm thinking about her. She has a boyfriend. Maybe she's talking to him on the phone.’

Aaron grimaced as he quickly scrolled through his phone. A maid appeared, carrying a tray, and headed upstairs. But she returned with the tray after a bit. Ivy refused to eat.

"What exactly is it? She didn't open the door, did she?" Tati asked.

"No," said the maid, with a nod. Tati grimaced as she picked up the tray. "Let me see what's wrong with this girl," Tati stated as she was ready to walk up the stairs.

But Aaron stopped. "Wait a minute, sis." Aaron had no idea what was wrong with me. He was just interested in seeing what she was up to on the inside.

"Aaron, what is it?" Tati asked.

"Can I go?" He asked.

To be continued.
