Ghost of a Chance: A Haunting Romance

The next night after work, I decided to venture into the archives and begin the process of clearing Stephen's family name. The Montgomerys had been a prominent family in this town in the 1800's, and I was certain that if I dug deep enough, I would be able to find what I was looking for. 


"What are we working on," Ben asked me with a smile, "It's pretty late to be hanging out down here. Anything I can help you with?" I didn't even notice that he'd followed me down there, but after giving the place a cursory glance, that made sense. The area was only lit by a few, dusty bulbs, and the area also functioned as the library's storage area. It was filled with random antiques and old records that for one reason or another didn't make it into public collection.
