Chapter 8: The first exam begins
Daiki calls upon a random boy's name and the person he called looks skinny and average sized. The random boy looks scared and worried as he's name was called. He then walks shyly and all eyes are on him like a hawk.
"Why you look so nervous kid, its not like you were called to get killed or something", says daiki with a serious expression.
"Nope its just am scared of failing this exam you know", the random boy replys with a shy tone
"Well its not something you should be scratching your head on, even if you fail this you can still participate in the real exam. Now then are you ready to jump?", says daiki
"Yeah i think im ready" the random boy says as if he's unsure of himself.
The random boy stands under the vertical test and looks up at it with a worried face, sweat drips on his face, he's breathing palpates. He then arches his legs, jumps up in the air only to touch the third bar, he lands on his butt.
"Come on kid is that the best you can do?", daiki says disappointedly.
"Thats the best i can do sir" the random boy says while panting
"Your even panting?, your fitness levels needs to improve boy", says daiki
"Yes sir" the random boy says disappointed in himself.
The random boy gets up on his feet and walks away in shame. Daiki begins to call upon the next name.
"Alright do i have a hiroto boulders here!" daiki says with a loud voice
Hiroto raises his arm to indicate his presence, katsuto then hypes hiroto up by giving him a pat on the back. Hiroto walks towards the vertical test with confidence and proudness.
"Alright you know the drill boulders" daiki says
"No need to tell me twice" hiroto says confidently
Hiroto stands under the vertical test with an arrogant smile
Hiroto then arches his legs, his calfs and thighs bulge, and then takes a massive leap in the air with his head being on the same level as the tenth bar. He slaps the tenth bar with force which breaks it. He lands on the ground with his legs arched.
*Hype music starts to play*
Everyone in the room are two times more stunned then katsuto's jump. Katsuto reacts with a smile on his face, mitsuki is flabbergasted and daiki nods his head in amazement.
"As expected from a brute like him" uragiri says to himself
"I think i went to hard right there" hiroto says to himself
"So i see you wanted to show off in front of everyone including me" daiki says with a smirk
" No i was just doing my best, and sorry for the broken bar" hiroto says seriously
"No its perfectly fine, i doubt anyone was going to touch it anyways. Boulders you get a perfect score since you touched the tenth bar, no one was able to do that except the earth hero, you got a bright future" daiki says proudly
"Thanks but i still have a lot to learn" hiroto says humbly
Hiroto then walks back to katsuto and megumi and gives them both a high five that symbolises he did a good job.
"Alright we're gonna move this along, next up "kai watanabe", says daiki rushingly
Daiki calls upon the next participant and meanwhile at an office, a man with a formal suit is sitting on a desk till someone knocks on the door.
"Come in", the man in the formal suit commands
The knock was coming from a woman with formal wear. She enters the room with a man with glasses, formal wear and blonde hair.
"President Shacho, this man was eager to meet with you" the woman speaks
"Greetings president" the man with blonde hair says unseriously while waving at him
The president sighs with annoyance and disappointment.
"You can go now hana, i'll speak with him" the president says uneagerly
Hana leaves the room and closes the door on her way out. The man with the blonde hair sits on the chair infront of the president's table and puts his leg on the table.
"So what's up president" the blonde hair man says casually
"You are a 38 year old man, put your feet off the table fukushu" the president says annoyed
"Alright relax, dont shoot me for it", fukushu says jokingly and puts his hands up like he surrenders
"So what do you want to see me for" the president says while handling paperwork
"I came here for serious business shacho", fukushu says while he's expression changes from casual to serious.
The president's attention quickly escalates as fukushu's expression changes.
"And whats this business?" Shacho enquires
"Well i have an idea that can revolutionise humanity, an idea that gives elemental powers to non-elemental so that the world may be equal once and for all", fukushu says enthusiastically
"So what your trying to tell me is that you can create something that can give powers to non-elementals?", Shacho enquires
"Yes and you are the perfect example Shacho" fukushu says
"Ok but why are you telling me this anyway" Shacho enquires
"Well its because i need permission from you to execute this groundbreaking and world-changing plan" says fukushu proudly
"This sounds innovative for sure but the answer is going to be "no" fukushu"
Once Shacho says no to him, fukushu face transitions from normal to angry. He stands up on his feet angrily.
"But why not shacho!?" Fukushu says angrily
"This is a big change in the city of elementos and i don't know the consequences of this plan of yours and what it could do to non-elementals" shacho says
"But i can make it happen, i've done my research on this plan and it has a 98% chance of success" fukushu replies desperately
"You see my point there, 2% chance of failing so the answer is no, close the door on your way out" shacho says
Fukushu hides a smile of devious intentions and attempts to exit the room, but before he does he says a word.
"I may not have your permission but my ambition still stands shacho" fukushu says with a devious smile
Fukushu exits the room and shacho shows signs of worry on his face. Meanwhile at the stadium, the elemental entertainment committee are doing a well choreographed dance and the audience cheer loudly. Fireworks are being shot. The elemental kings and queens sit above and show signs of enjoyment. The water king speaks....
"I cannot wait to see my daughter perform in this elemental exam" water king says excitedly
A king with a crown, brown and yellow formal king wear replies
"Yes i also wish to see exemplary performance from your daughter"
Meanwhile back at the elemental combine. Everyone had just finished testing their vertical jump, strength, speed and reaction time. They all stand in four lines and daiki is in front of everyone.
*Inspirational music starts to play*
"Alright people, you have successfully completed the elemental combine. Some of you impressed me yet some of you disappointed me but dont let that weigh you down cause the real exam is about to start. Without any waste of time, your free to enter the real exam where there will be audiences" daiki says with motivated spirit
People begin to quarrel about audiences watching them compete.
"Real exam starts right when we enter that door mitsuki", katsuto says with motivation
"I know i just met you guys but you two are the only ones that i connected with right away" hiroto says with an innocent smile
Katsuto then attempts to give hiroto a fist bump. Hiroto looked confused at first but proceeds to give katsuto back a fist bump. Mitsuki also puts her fist bump and they look at each other with respect.
Suddenly a door camouflaged behind daiki is revealed and it opens immediately, everyone is curious and they quickly realise its the real exam.
"You guys may enter the stadium where your real fates will be decided" daiki says with seriousness and motivation.
Everyone enters the room with serious expression and their met with a long hallway to the stadium. Katsuto walks with a confident smile, mitsuki walks with seriousness. Hiroto walks with purpose, megumi walks with the same seriousness and uragiri walks with proudness and arrogance.
They finally make it to the end of the hallway and are met with a massive battle arena with a large amount of people. Some of the participants show signs of nervousness, while others show signs of confidence and excitement. The announcer appears on the battlefield.
"Alright welcome contestants to your real examination, i hope your excited cause this exam will be filled with challenging battles between mates and scavenger hunt like exams so i hope your prepared
The audience cheer to their hearts content.
"So let me quickly present your first exam or an ice breaker if you may just to warm you guys up, but dont get to comfortable cause this is very crucial in the exam do you understand!" the announcer exclaims
The participants all reply yes sir with respect.
"Alright your first exam will be a battle royale and if you do not know what a battle royale is, let me tell you. It is a battle amongst a huge number of people and the goal is to knock an opponent out and remain the one and only victor!." the announcer exclaims
As the announcer is talking, the battlefield rises from the ground into the air while the participants were on it. It leaves them bewildered and confused.
"If you guys are wondering who is assesing this exams well it is the elemental heroes. Your fate is in their hands. Before you start let me give you guys the rules" the announcer says
Katsuto whispers to mitsuki saying...
"I should have known there would be rules" katsuto whispers

"The rules are simple well your goal is to knock the opponents of this battlefield and land below it. Dont worry i inserted a soft material that wont do you harm. Excessive force will not be allowed for if you break this rule, you will be penalized. Teaming up with other participants will not be allowed.
"Damn i guess we're enemies in this one" mitsuki says to katsuto and hiroto.
"Your elements may be used but your elemental weapons are not to be used cause i know you received it" announcer says strictly
"Im perfectly fine with not using my weapon" hiroto says
"And thats all the rules so all of you should get ready cause the battle royale will commence in 30 seconds!" the announcer exclaims strictly
The participants all seperate from their friends and get into fighting stances
