Chapter 37: The Disaster

Isabelle's Point of View:

Our kiss continued for the longest time ever and I pulled back when I ran out of breath. He smiled at me and kissed my forehead.

"I'm so lucky to have you."

His words were like a symphony to my ears. I was flabbergasted, taken aback, and freaking out all at once. This seemed to be a happy ending to a long-awaited sad life.

"I believe you know that this is something I've wanted forever."

"I know," He whispered.

As we stood smiling at each other for a few moments, I decided to believe him for the last time in my life. I had given chances to people who least deserved it, betrayed by people I held dearly—and done shit I shouldn't have a lot of times. If this had a chance of working out, it could only be if I gave him a true chance and that was only possible if I trusted him with everything.

Maybe it was nice, or it was a tremendous blunder. Either way, it was definitely gonna be a rollercoaster ride.
