Chapter 14

The day Ed and his grandparents left home. Azurill, Cleffa, and Wurmple were eating so happily that they didn't notice that their trainer left with his elders.

After they ate their breakfast, Cleffa looked around and found that her big brothers wasn't home. She looks at Macy who was busy preparing food for the other pokemon, Cleffa suddenly has an idea for adventure. 

With Macy being busy she happily bounced away. Azurill, who was arranging their bowl, saw Cleffa getting out. She immediately talks to Wurmple to follow Cleffa but the worm just looks at Azurill before returning back to sleep. 

Azurill looked at Wurmple who returned to his sleep. Azurill was annoyed with Wurmple nonchalant reaction wanting to hit it with water gun but veto doing it as it could cause more trouble. 

Azurill left the sleeping fat worm and search for Cleffa. 

Cleffa on the other hand got out of the house and entered the ranch of the elders' day care. Curious about the place she slowly walked as she was amazed by the new things she saw. 

When Cleffa hatched she didn't get to go outside without company due to her being just a few days old. Aside from her big brothers, Ed and Ralts, carrying her around and never going out of the house aside from the time her human big brother talking about something and playing against her friend Wurmple's mother. 

They were playing but they had a serious ugly face and it's no fun at all. 

As she was walking or jumping, a green energy spread and whenever it went grass grew and flowers bloom out of nowhere. 

Cleffa stood still as she saw flowers Blooming around her and this made her curious so she bounced and saw a big pokemon. It has a light green body and a flower around its neck. Cleffa's eyes shone as she thought it was a flower. 

Cleffa boldly get near the Meganium as she happily greeted Meganium. 

Meganium, who was training her terrain ability, noticed Cleffa when she activated her Grassy Terrain and let the little one roam as there weren't any danger near them. Meganium was shocked as this baby pokemon didn't fear her, even though her kind was amiable children and young pokemon were afraid of her. 

Being greeted by Cleffa, Meganium responds as she lowers her head to get near the young pokemon. Instead of being afraid Cleffa excitedly jumped on Meganium's head. Meganium let the little one play as she didn't mind and returned to training her moves and this time she was training her Reflect and Light Screen combination. Cleffa was also trying to duplicate Meganium's action.

Azurill who was searching for Cleffa saw the little one on top of Meganium. Azurill bounces towards Meganium and greets her.

"Azu~" Greetings Big sis 

Azurill knew Meganium as Meganium was one of Macy's pokemon and also Meganium was helping Macy take care of the pokemon in the day care. Azurill saw that Cleffa wasn't scared of Meganium, she remembered the first time she saw Meganium.

She was sleeping in the nursery room at that time and when she woke up she saw Meganium's giant face in front of her and smiled. This scared Azurill and the other young pokemon with her that they cried for a few minutes before Meganium could calm them down with her scent. Because of that event Meganium who loves to take care of young pokemons avoid going near young pokemons in case she would scare them again. 

Azurill heard from the other pokemon that Meganium was a kind hearted pokemon and that Meganium was the one who took care of her when she was still an egg. Meganium was just scary due to her huge size and pressure from an Elite pokemon. 

"Mega" Meganium greets Azurill back as Meganium slowly lowers her head and likes how she greets Cleffa using her antenna. This time Azurill wasn't scared of Meganium as she cuddled Meganium's face. 

After greeting each other, Meganium look at Azurill. Looking at Azurill, Meganium would always remember her friend. She remembered her friend Azumarill and her trainer Azim, who was the youngest child of the elders.With Azim and Azumarill as their travel group. Macy and her grew from a newbie to now a strong breeder and trainer. 

Back to the present Azurill and Cleffa played and also trained a little with Meganium. 

 The next day, Meganium saw that Azurill was looking for Cleffa anxiously. When Azurill wakes up she finds out that Cleffa was missing and on the other hand Wurmple is still sleeping and won't wake up. 

When Megnium saw Azurill was anxiously looking around. Like how when she and her trainer would get lost and near danger Azumarill and Azim would always save them. 

Now her friend who's always protecting her was still in a coma with her owner, angry at her own weakness and looking at Azurill she couldn't help but reminisce about the past and lament her weakness at that time. 

With Meganium helping they track the mischievous Cleffa and that she was being held by a person on black. 

"Azu!" Azurill shouted worried for her friend as she saw that Cleffa was hurt. 

The man in black saw Meganium and he could feel that Meganium was strong. 

"Oh? This is getting annoying Golbat Supersonic" 

Golbat screeches a loud noise and focuses it on Meganium disregarding the little Azurill on her side. But Meganium just stomped on the ground as rocks floated around her, she growled, controlling the rocks to shoot towards Golbat and the man. But instead of hitting them the rocks surrounded them. 

Meganium took this chance and took Cleffa with a vine whip. After taking Cleffa she let the rocks fall down to the two pokemon. 

"Elite Pokemon!" 

Then a man with the same uniform well let's call him grunt squad captain, was shocked at the strength of Meganium. 

They're team rocket members tasked to infiltrate the house of the elders. He couldn't help but feel unhappy that while the other squad captains were tasked to help in intercepting the elders with the other clan, their branch manager ordered his team to secretly infiltrate the house. 

He was one of strongest grunt in the hoenn branch, a quasi-elite trainer and they just ordered him and his underlings to kidnap a young assistant at the pokemon daycare. 

But nobody ever told him that a house in which the person remaining was a caretaker and other daycare pokemon has a huge strength, an Elite to boot. 

Because of Meganium's growl Macy rushed to the scene to find Meganium facing Team Rocket. 

'Team Rocket! How come they're in Hoenn?' 

Macy was taken aback as she came from Kanto she knew team rocket and their infamous actions in her hometown. Knowing her foes in the battle she immediately calls out another two of her pokemon without any word and takes action to attack the grunts not waiting for them to call out pokemon. 

It was Ariados, when it came out of its ball it glared at the grunts. The other one was a Breloom, the same as Ariados it glared and immediately rushed towards the grunts. 

"Breloom Mach punch!" 

The grunts startled and took their pokeballs to throw their pokeball and call out their pokemon. But Ariados called by Macy uses its string to take away the grunts' pokeball before they could call out their pokemon. While the other couldn't move as Meganium used a Frenzy plant binding them. 

Breloom arrived at the grunts who weren't bound and punched all the grunts making them unconscious. The grunt captain who has escaped from the assault of Macy's pokemon successfully called out his Hypno and used Teleport out of the scene. 

Macy saw this and smirked as she knew that some of Grandma Talya's pokemon didn't care if the grunts entered the ranch as long as there is no danger they won't take action but every person with malice that entered couldn't come out. 

When the grunt captain teleported with his Hypno he thought that they had escaped but he saw an Exeggutor with their three heads staring at him and Hypno. When they want to react they black out.

After the scuffle Macy caught all the grunts and called out Officer Jenny putting all the grunts into the prison. 

Due to that event Azurill strengthened her watch on Cleffa. Banning the pokemon on getting outside that bored Cleffa that she would find any method to have fun or get outside but Azurill guard is as hard as a Golem. 

Cleffa could only watch television shows or play with Meganium. Then that night Cleffa asked Azurill

"Clef-clefairy" Sis, What's the meaning of being alive? 

"Azu" I don't know 

"Clefclefa" But sis I saw this show about living

"Azurill?" What is it? 

"CleClefairy" They say that life's about having fun and appreciating. 

"Ceffaa" Also a bottle that you would drink 

"..." Azurill remembers what Cleffa is talking about. It was an alcohol advertising 

"Azuzurill?Rill Zurill?" What about Macy then? Why is she working hard? 

Azurill asked Cleffa changing the topic but also connected to it 

"(⁠・⁠o⁠・⁠)" 

"Zurill" How about helping Macy then? 

Cleffa nodded as she contemplated and went to find Macy. She searched for few minutes and found Macy in the kitchen. 

She saw Macy drinking something and crying, mumbling incoherent words but all of it ended with Azim. 

Cleffa was confused as Macy would cry then stop after that she would laugh then cry again. She went closer to Macy. Her eyes shone as she saw the bottle Macy was drinking and it is the same as the alcohol advertisement. 

'I want one too' 

Cleffa bounced but she found out she was stuck and she felt sticky.

She wants to cry for help but is taken away by Ariados.

Kanto, Saffron Silph Co. 

Gina and Giovanni received news of the defeat of the Water clan and the surrender of the Land clan to the Hoenn league and Alliance. Now the league was destroying the base they disclosed to the two clans. 

The alliance did a swift action and with the help of elite psychic pokemon they tracked the other bases and destroyed them. The alliance also took the data researched by those branches. 

Gina wasn't surprised by the action of the alliance but what surprised her is the strength of the elders. 

"I couldn't believe that instead of regressing those old bastard reach stronger heights" 

She was shocked to learn that those elders were now Grandmaster rank trainers. Not only her but the alliance too. 

They thought that their pokemon would weaken and they couldn't surpass the master rank. That's why the league except for the Joy family didn't help the elders when their youngest son was attacked and now in coma. 

"If I had known their strength I would have invited them not those worthless clans now I'm in their blacklist but the alliance would also had a headache now." Gina smirked as she wasn't the only one in trouble but also the alliance. 

"Why is it mother?" Giovanni asked, confused and didn't know any inside information. 

"Oh, you didn't know my boy?" Gina asked, amused as she knows her boy only thinks of making business and creating the strongest pokemon which he has taken from both her and her husband. 

"Just like us who chose those worthless clans, the alliance also chose those clans over those groups of now grandmaster rank trainers." 

There was a pokemon stampede in Hoenn Petalburg City from one of the scariest forests in Hoenn, the Petalburg forest. This was caused by the children of the great families in Hoenn. They want to have 'fun' that they disturbed the peaceful forest. The group found a pokemon egg and found the aptitude of the pokemon egg which is diamond. This causes a dispute but what is worse is the child they stole is the child of a Totem pokemon in the Petalburg forest. 

The totem pokemon was Altaria and due to her strength she and her flock didn't need to migrate as she could control weather. As a totem pokemon she has her flock and also other flying type pokemons under her. 

The loss of her child made the pokemon angry and led an attack on Petalburg city. Azim who was searching for Macy saw the attack and as an elite trainer a budding champion rank trainer helped in blocking the flock. 

With Azim's help the ranger and the official barely survived and blocked the stampede. But the noble children resume their scuffle implicating innocent and Azim protect innocent childrens with his body. 

The officials led by officer Jenny stopped the fight. She arrested the brats but they got free due their family. This angered the officer Jenny who caught them as the stampede was caused by the brats and even senselessly attacking civilians. 

But the Hoenn league and the Alliance turned a deaf ear. As they think that with the grandmaster rank Guardian on those families is more important and didn't want to offend. But this time they really had a huge headache. 

One that complained the biggest on this event was Azim's parents and their group of elderly friends. This made those nobles angry that they're subbotaging Azim's recovery and some alliance officials help the nobles. The elder could only transfer their son with the help of the Joy clan. 

Note: Joy family could only control the pokemon center and not human health related hospitals. 

Now the alliance saw their strength shifting the scale. Which would the alliance choose? The noble clans who have grandmaster rank pokemon but couldn't control it or The elders who could control grandmaster rank pokemons. 

Without a doubt people would choose the latter but due the alliance had a problem as they offended the group by constraining them. Now the league and the alliance were trying to make a good impression on the elders. 

Gina smiled as she knew how stubborn Talya and Yun were as she remembered the time she was with them. 

"Stop those operations targeting those elder and their families or else we would receive the wrath of someone we don't want to offend. But don't give up on retrieving the master ball data" 

She ordered her subordinates before turning her gaze at her son. 

"You see son, there are still many hidden dragons in this world. Those elders didn't even show their main pokemon but what I know is that Blastoise is not even part of that old bones main pokemon. My challenge for you is to reach master rank and above. Enhance your strength so that you could survive this world."
