Plains, Trains & Pains

Alan's next objective led him again out of Countdown Town into Gwah Ha Har Gorge. Down the winding road Alan and Co. goes, battling many Beanies and Rexes along the way. But before they could get to there destination, they run into Spluff Korra and Spluff Akiko who know what Alan is collecting and are their to retrieve the gem for their master.

They fight and Alan wins, and The spluffs scurry off in defeat. More of the Gorge they travel, and eventually come up to the large and imposing Chuckola Cola Brewery.

"A Brewery? Sounds good, I could use a drink or two." Alan said.

"Me too." Marky replied.

At the gate, they run into young Beanish Girl named Miss Beanary. She needs help opening the gate, as it seems to be malfunctioning (You know, it's one of those that automatically opens), so Mario uses Boomley to blast there way in. As they enter Mario runs into McKenzie, the hatted bumpty, who looks like had arrived really early and had fallen asleep. He says he's here to get free Chuckola cola, as he said, "My friend, who's a police officer, found a little mouser in one of your colas, and he puked, eh. And, uh, so do I get a free Chuckola Cola?"

Now this shocked President Peanubody, who acquired the title after his late brother, and founder of the brewery, named Mr. Leguman died in an accident. Then Peanubody married his brothers wife. Anyways, before I go way off topic, Mr. Peanubody hires McKenzie to inspect the bottling plant. Alan and friends then ask him if they've got a Crystal Star. But instead of answering the question, he hires them instead. So, they start there job, but before they get comfortable, they get an e-mail on Droppy. Telling them, in a spooky matter that something strange is a foot, and if Alan figures it out, they will find the Nebula Marimba. So Alan and the gang set out to find out, but before they really get anywhere, McKenzie decides to tag a long too.

Well, as I really don't want to bore you with too much detail, (Not that I've really figured this out exactly anyways) but as Mario runs around the Brewery finding clues as he continues to get these weird e-mails, it is revealed that Miss Beanary is actually the daughter of the deceased president and has recently inherited the entire brewery.

And that Brewmiester Snifles (Who has a funny European accent) Has done some shifty things, such as extensive security measures, and the odd noises coming from the basement. Well, as it turns out, (yep, I really don't want to go really far into detail) Old Mr. Leguman was actually killed by Snifles and with the help of Peanubody, staged the supposed accident. And that they were plotting to kill the little miss Beanary. Not only that, but the e-mail's that Mario had been receiving were actually from the ghost of Mr. Leguman with that Snifles and Peanubody escape to the basement, but accidentally dropping a key to the basement. This allows Alan to access the basement. As they fight there way down . They come across the guilty men. But they unveil a giant robot, the Chuckolabot 8800. They killed Leguman after they found out about this tyrannical mechanical monster. Snifles created it to run entirely on Chuckola cola, to rule all of Gwah Ha Har Gorge, and perhaps the whole world.

With that Alan battles the machine. During the battle, as he hurts Chuckola Bot, the Meter on his head goes from Green, to yellow and then to red, ending in his demise. But Brewmiester Snifles will occasionally refill the robots fuel tanks with Chuckola Cola, resulting in reviving the robot but needs to beat Snifles first, before the robot. After the battle, the robot explodes and out comes the Nebula Marimba.

Alan and his friends wave goodbye to the Miss Beanary and the reformed Peanubody and incarcerated Snifles. Mckenzie, finding the adventure to be better than free Chuckola cola, decides to keep on traveling with Alan.

Upon arrival, they end up in the small town of Shyville and begin asking around the place for the whereabouts of the Orange Crystal Star. The townspeople point in the general direction of the Whirled Canyon outside the town where a mysterious object crashed the day before. As soon as the cast try to leave town, something very fast rushes past and spins them around. Regaining balance, the group find that all of their coins are gone! Afterwards, Sheriff Shyler and his deputy, Shyres arrive at the scene, telling Alan that a bandit just robbed them, and head off to capture the criminal. Alan and co. follow.

They end up catching up to the two Shy Sheriffs, who seem to have lost the criminal and are at a dead end. They and the group head back to town, and are ambushed by the same Bandit as before, and is battled. Upon defeating it, Alan regains all of his coins back, and the Sheriffs commend him for taking it down. They return back to town and the culprit is thrown in jail. Goombeverly asks if any of the Sheriffs have seen a Crystal Star around, and to the group's surprise, the Sheriffs found it lying in the Canyon while in pursuit of the Bandit, and are happy to give it to Alan.

But, in a green & yellow flash, the Sunstone Star is gone from the group's hands. In surprise, the group panic. Shyler sees that the cell containing The Bandits Three, a criminal group consisting of three bandits, notorious for their heists, has been broken out. The group concludes that they should search for the group. Angered by this, and wanting to teach the varmints a lesson, Sheriff Shyler joins the party. With his ability to hit far away objects in the background, switches that could be seen in the distance can now be hit. They venture off into the Whirled Canyon again and can now go farther. The group end up in a forked road.

Going left takes them to the watery part of the canyon. That is, with streams and rivers. Shyler's ability hits more switches which open bridges, and the group continue in pursuit of the Bandits Three. The group find the first member, Bandy, the trash-talking, arrogant member. They exchange some words and a mini-boss battle begins. After the defeat, Bandy is jailed, and the group head back.

Going right from the fork takes them to the part of the canyon with many train tracks. Choombas can be seen in the distance carrying cargo trains & passenger trains. The group find the 2nd member, BandAnna, the smooth-talking, criminal mastermind behind all of the gang's plots. After her defeat, BandAnna is jailed, and the group head back to town. There is no more places to go, so the interrogate the whereabouts of Banderson, their leader. Upon the mention of his name, the jail cell containing the two breaks free, and turning behind them, Banderson is there. He taunts the group by holding the Sunstone Star, saying that it's his trophy now, and the group run off. Luckily, The Deputy Sheriff, Shyres is there to stop their escape, and with no other options, they battle.

Upon defeating all three of them, they retreat and go into the train station, hoping to get away. However, they don't know how to handle a Choomba, so they just anger it and it runs off with rage. In pursuit, Shyler & Alan and the gang head off in another Choomba train to catch the criminals and to calm the runaway train.

After a high-energy train track pursuit game, the three bandits are jailed for good, and the Crystal Star is taken from them by the two Sheriffs. Shyler notices how much fun he's having with Mario and beating up "varmints" so he asks to join the group and travel with them on their quest to gather the Chrome Stars and stop the Mushroom Universe's time from stopping, to which the group happily accepts. He leaves his Sheriff position to Shyres who gladly accepts and wishes the group luck. Shyler gets the Sunstone Star and gives it to Alan.

At the Lunatic Empire, Vora was finished with her relaxing bath. Over the years, she has been trying to turn her minions back into their original form but always fails. She again tries to turn him back and is almost successful, but the emeralds' power is too strong for Vora to overcome. He reveals his own sordid heritage after The Magic Mirror insists that Stolas should invite his mother, but Stolas refuses, explaining how she abandoned him in the woods as a child.

Magica, Stolas, and Aikon are informed that Alan has taken the Sunstone Star. The three villains become angry and scold their minions, who seems to be indifferent about it. Akiko tells them to calm down, and suggests they send more troops to search for the other stars all around the lands. The two agree with her and proceeds to call more X-Nauts to send them to Earth.

Meanwhile, Ivy and Atta seems to be waiting worriedly for Twink, who they sent a letter to. After waiting for a while longer, she decides to go outside and look for her. She notices that the X-Naut trying to unlock an artifact: it is Sariel, who is pretending to be inanimate. Ivy takes an object from a table and throws it at the X-Naut 's direction to distract it. The X-Naut leaves Twink on the table, and looks for the object, and both Ivy, Atta, and Twink escape. Back at the room, Twink informs Ivy and Atta about Vora sending even more troops to search for the Crystal Stars and Alan, and Ivy sends Alan an e-mail regarding this afterwards.
