Sorry

Remo quietly opened Abby's door, the soft sound of her muffled sobs echoed in the darkness, sending a pang of pain straight to his heart. He stepped into the room and closed the door behind him, the soft click barely audible in the stillness of the night.

Approaching her bed, he could see Abby curled up in a ball, her body shaking with the force of her tears. Without a word, Remo laid down beside her and gently wrapped his arms around her trembling form, pulling her close in a tight embrace.

Abby's sobs grew louder at his touch, her tears soaking into the fabric of his shirt as she buried her face against his chest. For a long moment, they remained like that, wrapped in each other's arms, the only sound in the room the hitching of Abby's breath.

When Abby's tears finally began to subside, she pulled away slightly, her eyes red and swollen from crying. She looked up at Remo with a mixture of sorrow and remorse, her voice choked with emotion as she spoke.
