The truck, the main cause of the accident, now clearly was visible on the paper. The head lights were still on, making a heavy beam of light dispatch.... just like what Amara used to experience, just before waking up from her horrible dreams!
She could now see the driver, him being completely dressed in black.
Others might take that as a fondness towards black, however, Amara could only suspect more.
Him being completely unaffected by the incident fueling her suspicion.
Was he too much traumatized that there isn't even an expression escaping from him?!
The man, still seated in the truck, suddenly recieved a call. He coldly answered the call. Amara couldn't hear what he was talking with the person from the other side, just the scenes being at display, like a muted video! The man nodded coldly before getting off the truck, reaching towards the flipped car.
He took a clear check of her parents before calling back the person, "It's done!!" saying it as if assuring the person of a thing getting done as planned.
As soon as he ended the call, the man crouched, having a clear look at her parents.
Amara doubted if he pitied, accidentally, somehow?!
"I'm sorry for what I'm gonna do!" He said with a sigh, "I had no other option!!"
The paper stopped showing, all of a sudden! Leaving a frustrated Amara behind!
She didn't know what to feel now, what just happened?
Her seeing the before and after of the incident, and finally a view which....now is forcing her to suspect everything that happened.
Who was that man?
Whom did he talk with?
Was everything....really.....planned?!
Not anymore an accident??
Gonna do...do what??
Was this what she saw, even....real???
Tears streamed down her cheeks as she collapsed onto the floor sobbing, uncertainty being felt at its peak.
She can't just shake it off as a mere view now anymore, for, what she had seen, herself with her parents, whatever was shown was exactly what had happened. Which gave her the liberty to think of what's shown later as the truth as well.
However, accepting it became difficult.
Every inch in herself now broke down in pain, suspecting everything that happened two years ago while demanding answers, everyone becoming a supposing enemy all of a sudden.
She didn't know what felt worse now; to have your thing lost or losing it by someone grabbing it away from you.
In instance, her peaceful day broke out to be the worst day, even more worst than the one when she mourned her parents, the unknown gift becoming an undefined source for an undiscovered knowledge.
Just what was happening with her today??
Amara looked down at the paper she held, her vision yet blurred cause of tears, still were focused, a mixture of frustration, anger, grief, helplessness and fear taking over her. "Is this what you wanted to show me?! Answer me!!" She shouted painfully, her sobs a tinge at her anger outburst.
"So...so it wasn't just an..... accident, was it?! It was pre-planned!" Her heart sank at the revelation, "It was a....MURDER!"
A ....murder.
BUT WHY??
More tears cascaded, is this for real?!
Her parents..... didn't deserve it....! For what??
They were the kindest people she had ever met, felt lucky to be a part of them.
What on the earth could they have done for they had to go through this?
Definitely, nothing!!!!!
She was trying to move on from something, which she didn't yet know completely of?!
Who.....was that?!
Who dared to do such a cruel thing for her and her parents?!
Unknowingly, the urge to take revenge took over her, however her sobs remained.
With a heavy breath, she looked down at the paper she held, helplessness embracing her, uncertainty of what to do and how coiling her, the realisation of 'it's too late to do anything now' troubling and frustrating her at the same time, the urge to slith those men's throat slowly claiming her, despite it being completely unprofessional as her being a medical student.
Amara could do nothing but one, her tear-stained eyes focusing on the paper, begging it to show the accused one.... cause she had.... no other option!!
"I didn't ask for anything, yet you showed me the unknown!" Amara took a deep breath, already beginning to feel suffocated by all the sobbing, "I don't even know whether to thank or curse you!!" she chuckled in pain, "The revelation makes me helpless!!" she confessed.
"Help me," She cried, "help me find the culprits, my parents don't deserve this!!"
"Please...!!!" She urged for the paper to show something, anything, however, it remained empty, leaving her with her false hopes.
She needs to, wants to know, completely! She cannot choose to stay in the false world anymore, it felt suffocating!!
With a brief thought, she tried it, perhaps it would work again? Only if....may be .... "Show yourself!!" She tried to demand.
No response.
"Show yourself!!"
No response.
"SHOW YOURSELF!!" Amara felt defeated as she shouted.
"Please....!" She begged low, hugging the paper, feeling miserable, "Please .....help me..."
Amara felt the silence slowly killing her, giving up. Even if she now reports or files a case, no one would believe her, instead would say she had gone mad after her parents death, if she says a paper showed her the past. How can any would believe her? Even she still can't do so! She had.... no evidence to even investigate, and to look into something from two years ago is....almost impossible!!
Her thoughts ceased with questions until she realised she could actually get some help from a person, perhaps!
With a low sigh she hugged the paper tightly in pain, shutting her eyes.
Suddenly, the sun rays peeked through the open window, falling straight on her face, forcing her to look away!
Amara shot her eyes open with a gasp, sensing a halt of breath briefly, as if she had gone through something unknown and undefined.
However, her trial to steady her breath fell short as she realised she wasn't okay somehow.
As she kept staring the ceiling ahead, she couldn't help but wonder how did she end up laying in her bed when she clearly remembered having herself collapsed onto the floor!
Something....felt odd!
