Chapter 24-The Clash Of Titans

Akuma looked down upon Ren, Daisuke and Zeref below him, but he had a smirk on his face. He was not at all afraid of them, he had defeated countless foes over his long journey, and they didn't seem much different. However, something about them looked familiar, he couldn't quite place it. The trio approached him, determined to take him on. Akuma raised his hands and sent bursts of fire, air, water, and earth at the three attacking him. All of the elements seemed to home in on their respective user. Ren would find flames shooting directly at him, Daisuke would be slammed by jagged shards of rock, and Zeref would be blasted by torrents of water. Daisuke uses his geomancy to manipulate the rocks sent toward him by Akuma. He bends their trajectory and forces them to hit Akuma back, creating a devastating attack against the powerful elemental mage. Ren uses his nature magic to dissipate the flames, using a powerful gust of wind to redirect the flames back at Akuma. Zeref's body bursts with power as he fuels himself with mana. His incredible muscles flex and strain under a sudden surge of strength, making him even tougher than before. Akuma's water attacks do little damage to Zeref, he seems invincible. Akuma is caught off guard by that sudden turn of events. As Akuma's attacks are countered, he sees the opportunity to launch another attack. This time, he uses his elemental powers to create a powerful tornado filled with air, water, flame, and earth to blast towards them. Ren tries to block the tornado with a powerful gust of wind, but it breaks through and starts to sweep Daisuke and Zeref away. Zeref is thrown off by the tornado's incredible force, but he manages to maintain his balance and counter its effects. Daisuke manages to block most of the tornado with his walls of stone, but some of the elements still get through. Akuma sees that his attack is breaking through the counter-attacks and keeps up the assault, creating more tornadoes filled with each element and sending them at the rogue trio.

Ren continues to use the wind element to disperse the flames, but he is getting pushed back by the force of the tornadoes. Daisuke is overwhelmed by the water and has to focus on trying to maintain his balance while dodging the tornadoes. Zeref, despite his immense strength and mana-fueled body, is beginning to slip and slide due to the sheer power of the tornadoes. While struggling to maintain his balance in the fierce tornado, Ren uses his nature magic to create a powerful scythe made from plant matter. He swings his scythe in a wide arc, slicing through the tornadoes, clearing the area of that element. The tornadoes shift and change shape as he cuts through them. Ren then creates powerful vines which rise from the ground and wrap around him, Daisuke, and Zeref's ankles, holding them firmly in place. This prevents them from being dragged away by the tornadoes. Zeref, furious at the tornadoes which are making it difficult for him to remain in one place, starts punching the air with his overwhelming strength. His fists create powerful bursts of wind which shoot toward Akuma and start to cut into his skin, leaving numerous cuts and grazes on his torso. The damage isn't massive, but it still hurts Akuma, and the wind blows away some of his elemental attacks. Daisuke raises his earth powers and uses them to raise the ground underneath Akuma into a powerful spike. The spike impales Akuma's waist and sends him flying upward, breaking through the tornadoes and sending him crashing down onto the ground with tremendous impact. It's a devastating attack that does a sizeable amount of damage to Akuma. The fight quickly becomes a fierce physical brawl as Akuma dashes towards the trio and unleashes a furious assault.

Ren strikes at him with his scythe, but Akuma shows incredible strength and manages to snap the scythe in half, breaking the weapon and preventing any further attacks. Akuma delivers a powerful punch to Ren's face, sending him flying back into Daisuke, who in turn is knocked back into Zeref as Akuma moves in for another attack. The fight between Zeref and Akuma is one of pure brute strength and raw power. They are both incredibly imposing and powerful individuals who are clearly not holding back in their fight. The blows landed by each participant send the other flying back, causing significant damage and making for a brutal and violent spectacle. Even the ground around them can barely resist the onslaught, being torn apart under their immense weight and the force of their attacks. The sheer force of the impacts between Akuma and Zeref causes the crumbling buildings around the two to come crashing down, sending debris in all directions. The two combatants manage to narrowly dodge the falling rubble and debris, but the ground around them cracks and the foundation begins to buckle under the immense power they are unleashing. As Akuma and Zeref's brutal fight continues, Ren and Daisuke jump into the fray. Ren creates powerful vines which wrap around Akuma's limbs, locking him in place. Zeref takes this opportunity to unleash a barrage of attacks at Akuma, sending him reeling. Akuma is unable to move, unable to block, unable to defend himself, as Zeref's attacks send him flying back and forth through the debris-filled air. In a fit of rage, Akuma manages to break free from the vines that had locked him in place. As he rips the vines away from his limbs, he shoots blasts of elements at the trio. His powerful elemental magic blasts away the debris and sends waves of air, fire, water, and earth towards the three.

The blasts of elements strike the trio and send them flying back. Ren and Daisuke manage to avoid the worst of the explosions, but they still take some damage. Zeref, however, is unfazed as the massive blasts of elements merely glance off of his muscular body, giving him a chance to launch a counterattack. Zeref launches his counterattack, running towards Akuma like an unstoppable force. Akuma tries to prepare his defenses, but the muscular titan is too fast. Zeref strikes Akuma with an immense fist, sending him flying back into the crumbling buildings which are slowly crumbling around them. The power of Zeref's fist sends them toppling to the ground, the force of the impact almost shattering the ground beneath their feet. Akuma is sent back, crashing into a crumbling building. The impact nearly causes the building, as well as the ground under their feet to crumble away. Zeref's relentless fists strike Akuma again and again, causing immense damage to the elemental mage. Akuma's defenses are no match for the overwhelming strength of the titan. As Akuma realizes he is losing the fight, he tries to turn the battle in his favor. He uses his elemental magic to create an EMP blast around himself, sending Zeref flying away with severe burns on his torso. The EMP blast was effective in preventing the titan from continuing his attack, but Akuma also takes a lot of damage from the attack, suffering significant burns around his body, though he hides his pain with sheer willpower and determination. Akuma expression breaks into an unnatural smile as he appears to enjoy the pain. It is almost as if the pain makes him stronger. He turns his attention towards the crumbling buildings around them and starts to blast them with his elemental powers, increasing the crumbling of the buildings and causing the rubble to start falling on the trio. Akuma's intent seems to be to crush the trio within the rubble of the collapsing buildings.

Akuma believes he has won; he waits expectantly to be able to finally see the crushed bodies of his opponents. He waits for the dust to dissipate and looks towards where the trio was standing, expecting to see their bodies lying motionless under the rubble of the collapsed buildings. As the smoke dissipates, Daisuke stands in the center of the rubble, protecting the trio with a large dome of earth. He stands tall and confident, a smirk on his face as he looks up at Akuma with determination. "I am the Rogue Syndicates Stonewall", he screams at Akuma, "Did you really think you could hurt my friends when I was here?", he challenges Akuma, daring him to try and hurt them again. The three are safe, for now, and it's all thanks to Daisuke's protection. Akuma is amused by Daisuke's determination and sends rapid and consecutive blasts towards him and the dome he has created. With each hit, the dome begins to crumble, but with the same ease as before, Daisuke simply reconstructs the dome, maintaining its protective effects. This leaves Akuma somewhat perplexed and impressed. While Daisuke is busy reconstructing the dome, Ren uses his nature magic to transform the inside of the dome into a green and vibrant habitat. It seems to be healing their injuries and restoring their energy, making it a perfect safe space for them to recuperate. Akuma is clearly amused by the trio's defiance and their refusal to submit to him. "Fine, I'll finally start trying", he says with a creepy smile, clearly ready to turn the battle into a true struggle. Akuma appears to be powering up, increasing his strength and power to new levels and preparing to unleash his full elemental powers upon the trio, "Are you ready to face the wrath of 'The Great Oni'?" Akuma's expression shifts from amusement to intensity as he is starting to take the battle more seriously. He sends one massive blast of all the elements towards the dome, instantly breaking it apart and revealing the trio behind him. Fortunately, the dome had managed to protect the three from harm, even if it had broken. However, the dome's protection had ended, and the fight was now truly beginning.

Daisuke, Ren, and Zeref stand shoulder-to-shoulder behind one another, determined and ready to fight for what they believe in. The trio works together in perfect harmony, using their unique abilities to maximize their success in this fight. Ren creates orbs which circle around him, each one with its own element, fire, water, earth, wind, and ice. The orbs shoot blasts at Akuma as if they have a mind of their own, providing multiple sources of elemental attacks while also giving a clear demonstration of Ren's mastery over the forces of nature. While Ren's orbs provide long range elemental attacks, Daisuke is focused on defense, raising the earth as a shield to block Akuma's attacks towards Ren and Zeref. Zeref enhances his body with even more mana. His enhanced mana increases his strength, durability, and power to gargantuan levels as he engages with Akuma in a brutal fist fight. He grows eight feet tall and is a true titan as he shakes the ground with each step, delivering powerful punches that shake the area. Akuma is impressed by the incredible strength Zeref possesses and is forced to fight with equal strength and ferocity. The fist fight between Akuma and Zeref is a brutal and intense one, as both opponents are able to match the other in terms of physical prowess and strength. Each punch they deliver is like a massive strike, shaking the ground around them and sending vibrations throughout the area.Akuma is impressed by Zeref's strength and his ability to withstand his punches; he has never faced an opponent who could go toe-to-toe with him like this before. Zeref, for his part, is impressed and invigorated by Akuma's strength and toughness when faced with his attacks.

 After several minutes of intense fighting, Akuma appears to be gaining the advantage over the trio. His immense physical strength, unmatched power, and sheer toughness are overwhelming the trio, who have been doing their best to fight off Akuma's assault. However, Akuma does not let the trio's efforts go to waste and he recognizes that they too are very powerful individuals in their own right. He is truly the strongest hero alive, and he is showing his superiority in this fight. Akuma creates a huge great sword made of fire, ice, water, and earth and strikes at the trio, knocking the wind out of them. The immense power and force of the strike sends the trio flying back, crashing into the walls of the buildings around them. The trio tries to recover from the strike but are staggered by the power behind it. After the massive attack by Akuma, the trio are battered and bruised, the area around them awash in their own blood. This continues for several minutes, as Akuma just toys with the three, constantly knocking them back and preventing them from mounting any real offense against him. Akuma's immense stamina has begun to fail him, and his previous wounds are starting to take a toll on his body. He is visibly slowing down as his previous injuries gradually slow him down and tire him out. Even his previous attacks seem to be more half-hearted and less intense than they were before Daisuke's spiked attacks against Akuma's waist seem to have had an impact on Akuma, and he is showing signs of pain when he moves too quickly or too forcefully. Akuma shakes off the effects of his wounds and continues to fight with renewed determination. The trio is starting to show visible signs of damage as they are slowly crushed between Akuma and the buildings around them, their bodies breaking and their bones splintering. Even Zeref seems to be struggling to keep up with Akuma's incredible strength.

Akuma stands over them, his face twisted into a manic and malicious grin as he prepares to deliver the final blow to his defeated opponents. Akuma is about to plunge his sword into Ren's chest, but just before he can do so, a burst of electricity strikes him from out of nowhere and knocks him away. Akuma's face shows surprise and confusion as he is forced to stop his attack and look around to see where the attack came from. Ren starts laughing along with Daisuke and Zeref as they look up at the sky, where a massive plane is flying overhead. The trio clearly knows something Akuma does not, and this seems to be bringing to their joy and amusement. The futuristic plane hovers in the air for a moment as one of its doors opens up, revealing the interior of the plane, which appears to be futuristic and full of advanced technology. The door closes, signaling the plane to begin its descent towards the trio and Akuma. Akuma looks towards the plane with amusement, clearly not knowing what is coming. Ren has regained his composure and stands alongside Daisuke and Zeref, who also appear to be more relaxed now. "Jeez, it took them long enough," Ren says, referring to the plane, as if he was waiting for it to arrive.
