Chapter 551: Turmoil in the Distant Dimension

As the creature murmured, the dark dimension began to tremble. This power of upheaval did not come from the creature but from a multitude of terrifying beings.

Among these terrifying creatures were those on the same level as the first to speak, and their numbers were not small. Above them, even more dreadful auras existed. When these beings sensed the awakening of a supreme entity, they all prostrated themselves, showing respect in the direction of the supreme one.

"Lord!"

"Lord! You have awakened?"

"Greetings, my Lord!"

Reverent voices echoed throughout the dark dimension. In this place, the Dark Lord was the supreme existence. It could be said that all creatures depended on the Dark Lord for their very existence!

"I sense it, the aura of the Earth dimension? Did any of you travel to the Earth dimension? Has our previous plan made progress?" The Dark Lord scanned each powerful being in the dimension and asked calmly.

"Servis, at your service, my Lord..." Servis, who had previously occupied Alexander's body, now exhibited none of the rage he showed in the mirror space. He reined in his aura, lowered his head, and respectfully spoke toward the Dark Lord.

"Servis? Hmm... I remember you. You once initiated the transfer of vampire and werewolf power to the Earth dimension. Was it your lineage that succeeded?" The Dark Lord quickly recognized Servis and inquired.

"..." Servis felt both excited and ashamed upon hearing the Dark Lord remember him because he had not met the Dark Lord's expectations and had let him down.

"The Alexander who obtained our dimension's power finally used it after evading for a millennium. I seized the opportunity to occupy his body, intending to channel more power and investigate the status of vampires and werewolves on Earth..." Servis took a deep breath, lowered his head further, and explained.

"However, I encountered the mirror space of the Sorcerer Supreme lineage on Earth and was trapped within, unable to locate the vampires and werewolves directly..."

"The Sorcerer Supreme lineage?" The Dark Lord pondered briefly, falling into silence. As he did, an invisible yet powerful force surged, causing the entire dark dimension to tremble.

Sensing the dimension's tremor, the prostrated beings displayed fear in their eyes, especially Servis, who feared the Dark Lord might eliminate him with a single thought...

"A new successor of the Sorcerer Supreme lineage? It seems this successor is quite formidable, making it difficult for various dimensions to approach Earth over the centuries." The Dark Lord's action was not against Servis but to gather information circulating among dimensions.

The Dark Lord had been dormant for countless years and was unaware of many things. The current Sorcerer Supreme, Ancient One, had only risen to power in the past few centuries, a mere nap for an existence like the Dark Lord.

However, upon releasing his consciousness, the Dark Lord quickly learned these not-so-secret messages between dimensions. He saw the Ancient One's numerous achievements and understood her strength.

"Impressive strength. She recently defeated a minor dimension? No wonder she can achieve this. So, were you driven back by her?" The Dark Lord soon refocused on Servis and asked.

"Sorry, my Lord. I didn't even encounter the Ancient One, nor can I confirm if she intervened. I was merely trapped in the mirror space of Kamar-Taj and faced a formidable opponent there..." Servis's face turned bitter as he spoke, ashamed.

Facing the Ancient One would at least provide an excuse, given her recognized strength. Being driven away by her was somewhat acceptable.

Unfortunately, Servis faced Robert and Clark. Despite fighting Robert for so long, he gained no useful intelligence, and he only knew Clark was Kryptonian. He had no other gains.

"I encountered a mysterious individual, possibly from another dimension allied with Earth. He looked mostly human but had a tail, was incredibly strong, and very combative. Crucially, he possessed the ability to counter our weaknesses!" Despite his failure, Servis quickly reported what he knew, leaving his fate to the Dark Lord's mood.

"From him, I learned our weaknesses were exposed. However, I couldn't gain more information due to his countermeasures..."

"Also, he had a Kryptonian ally, seemingly stronger than him. The Kryptonian's light and heat similarly countered me. Under their combined assault, my will and power were dispersed, yielding no further results. I await your punishment, my Lord!" Servis bowed his head deeply.

"Useless! What use is such little information? Can't you discern the tail-bearing individual's abilities or their dimension of origin?" A furious voice rebuked Servis.

"A thousand years ago, I told you not to endow too much power to those of lowly bloodlines. Just model them after our power to develop a flaw-free path. But you didn't listen, investing heavily only to be toyed with by Alexander for a millennium!"

"Grant, you speak as if your lineage has succeeded. How have your lowly creatures developed? Have they found a way to overcome their weaknesses?" Hearing this voice, Servis's face darkened, but he remained silent, bearing his guilt. The Dark Lord, however, looked curiously at Grant.

"..." Grant's body trembled upon the Dark Lord's question. He quickly bowed his head, regretting his rash outburst. "Apologies, my Lord. Due to Earth's unique nature, I haven't contacted my lowly creatures. But after so many years, they should have made some progress..."

"Oh? When I scanned the dimensions, I noticed a breach in the Earth dimension. Did none of you seize the opportunity to send some minions to investigate?" The Dark Lord glared at the prostrated Grant. "Why do you mock those attempting action now?"

"Forgive us, my Lord!" Voices of fear echoed, and nearly everyone shared Grant's sentiment, secretly blaming him. If not for his words, the Dark Lord's anger wouldn't have spread to them.

"My Lord, I have made some progress..." Amidst the fear and trembling, a strong presence, one of the top entities in the dark dimension, spoke.

"Hercules? What progress have you made?" The Dark Lord's eyes brightened as he turned to Hercules.

"I altered the method of creating vampires and werewolves. When the Earth dimension breach occurred, I observed Earth's technological power. Using this technology, I created a new breed of vampire without the old weaknesses!" Hercules spoke excitedly.

"I also discovered some unique human-vampire hybrids on Earth without the typical vampire flaws. However, these hybrids are rare, and I haven't had time to study them further before Kamar-Taj's wards concealed the breach..."

"Excellent, Hercules! Well done!" The Dark Lord praised Hercules. "Next, find a way to retrieve these experiment results from the Earth dimension. During this period, all dark dimension powerhouses will follow your orders!"

"Thank you, my Lord!" Hercules's eyes flashed with fervor as he respectfully bowed.

The surrounding powerhouses felt displeased but dared not show it before the Dark Lord. They knew they had to obey Hercules, who had just received a significant boost, elevating his strength to T0, surpassing all but the Dark Lord.

This new power, granted by the Dark Lord, signaled his high regard for this task. If not for his unique bond with the dark dimension, the Dark Lord might have ventured to Earth himself.

"Now, the rest is up to you. Contact me if you face insurmountable issues..." With these words, the Dark Lord returned to his slumber.

From this moment, with the Dark Lord asleep, Hercules became the undisputed ruler of the dark dimension.

"We will not disappoint you, my Lord!" Hercules vowed reverently as the Dark Lord slept. Then, he surveyed the dark dimension. "Everyone, let's cooperate fully to complete this mission and meet our Lord's expectations!"

"We will comply!" The powerhouses voiced their agreement. They knew defying Hercules was unwise, given his new authority and strength.

However, if Hercules's mission failed, they would seize the chance to retaliate.

"I hope I don't have to return to Earth. That place is too dangerous..." Servis sighed inwardly, especially when he noticed Hercules's gaze on him. He knew he couldn't avoid this task.

Meanwhile, Robert and Clark remained unaware of the dark dimension's turmoil. Knowing about its existence, they expected its eventual arrival on Earth.

The recent battle confirmed that dark dimension beings retained vampire and werewolf weaknesses, at least against light properties.

Though not as pronounced, this weakness could still be exploited in battle with proper preparation.

Robert and Clark didn't immediately leave the mirror space, ensuring no tricks remained. Only after confirming Alexander's complete demise did they exit.
