Chapter Nineteen

I was silent for a time. Just thinking about what Henrie told me and what just happened with Raiven's company. I would love to help him out some more but I knew he had to do this part himself.

"Ok. Send everything you have to Raiven."

"Yes sir." Henrie then hung up.

I opened up my mind link with Raiven. 'Henrie is sending you some info. Use it however you want.'

'Thanks Lil bit.' Raiven answered.

'Can I have Azule's contact info?'

'Yeah. I'll text you it. Why do you need it?'

'I want to check something out.'

'Ok. Let me know what you find. I got the info from Henrie. Thanks. I can really use this.'

'You're welcome Rai and I will.' Suddenly my phone binged. I looked at it and saw the text from Raiven. 'Thanks.'

'No prob Lil bit. We help each other out.'

We said our goodbyes and quickly started to hack into the number. It seems like her info wasn't really protected. It didn't take long to get in. When I did I was disgusted. I dug more into her info. I got more and more disgusted. When I found out all I could I quickly sent it to Raiven. I know he could use it.

Unknown POV

I sat in the living room watching everyone around me. Everything was chaotic. Everyone was running around, yelling at one another. A smirk spread on my lips. Suddenly I heard a door slam.

"Azule!" I heard the alpha yell. Running feet came down the stairs.

"Yes father?" Azule came to a stop right in front of the alpha.

"What is this I'm hearing?! Raiven Knight rejected you?! How could you allow that?!" He was still thundering. There was no calming down that man. He was all smoke and fire. No calm bone in his body.

"I'm sorry father. I couldn't seduce him. He was so set on his mate. I tried for years but failed." She bowed her head and her shoulders slumped.

"You didn't try hard enough. Now I have someone battling me for the shares of GoldFang."

Well, well. Finally someone to fight against the alpha. I never did like this pack. I'm only here because I was born here.

Azule tilted her head. "Battling you? Who could do that? I thought there was no one brave enough to fight against you."

"There shouldn't be. Everyone knows what would happen if they tried."

I snickered. That's funny. The alpha was crazy. Barely anyone was actually scared of him. They just didn't want to deal with his craziness. This pack was evil and he was the main reason.

He wanted power and would go after everyone and everything in the way. Whenever he thought there was something in his way there was no stopping him. He would even use his daughter to get his way.

I stood up and ran my hand through my blond hair. I walked past the alpha and his daughter. I had to get away before I reveal my true feelings and expose who I am.

I walked into my room and bursted out laughing. Now he will learn what it feels like to get hurt. I want out of this pack but I can't leave when he is the alpha. He would hunt me down if I left.

I walked over to my desk. I wanted to find out who the mate of this Raiven Knight was. If I'm right they're the ones fighting with the alpha. Only mates would fight for each other.

I quickly looked up Raiven Knight and found out he was quite good looking. His gold eyes were so piercing they seemed to look through everyone, even through the computer screen. His black hair was cut short. So short it was almost a military cut.

As I looked at his info I found out his mate was a guy named Killian Borg. He was so cute. His silver eyes were hard but had a soft glint in them. His gray hair was on the longer side with gold highlights. He seemed to be from a very prominent family. They both are. One from the family that owned SilverHeart, the other GoldFang. Both are companies at the top of the business world.

The more I stare at their photos the more I feel drawn to them. Why would I? I never felt drawn to anyone before. I turned 19 this year and I have yet to meet my mate. The longer it takes to find them I lose hope.

I look to see if I can find any contact info on Raiven Knight. When I find it I pick up my phone and text the number.

'I'm from the pack NightShade and I would love to work with you against them. I know Azule was working against you and you would love to teach her a lesson. I want to help you with that. I can be your inside man.'

Raiven POV

I heard my phone bing. When I looked at it I found a text from an unknown number. Hmm. Maybe I should accept it. I did get the info from Henrie and Killian. Even with that I feel like I need help. They may be from the same pack as Azule but they didn't seem as bad.

I quickly texted them back. 'Ok. Come to my house this weekend. We will talk in person then.'

After that I put my phone down on my desk. I turned the chair towards the window and looked out it. I opened up my mindlink with Killian.

'Come to my house this weekend.'

'What for? I was already going to come.' he asked after a few seconds.

'We need to meet someone.'

'Ok. Who?'

'Someone from the NightShade pack who would like to work with us.'

'NightShade? This isn't a trap right?'

'I don't think so. Their text sounded genuine.'

'Ok. I'll trust you. I did find out someone looked into us. Maybe it was them.'

'Maybe. We will find out this weekend.'

He closed the link. I turned back to work. There was so much to do for my job. The project I was working on was almost due. We were working on a design for a company building. The client wanted it mainly in glass. It has to be 10 stories tall.

I worked for hours and finally got the blueprint done. Now we need to get the approval of the client. I put it to the side and tidied up my desk. I then walked over to the windows and looked out, thinking. My mind ran through everything that happened today.

Dylan barging into my office at work. Talking to dad about dealing with Azule and her family. The attempt from her family and Killian's help. The info from Henrie and Killian. Then the text offering help.

I never met this Henrie but I can tell he does good work. I hope he will still help Killian when we marry. So much has happened. There won't be any limit to it anytime soon. Our days will only get more chaotic.
