His Fiancée

Natalie Green's voice became suddenly demure, her arms wrapped tightly around Ethan Montgomery's waist, clinging to him as if her life depended on it. 

 

Avery Miller stood just aside, her hand swollen and reddened from being slapped, not moving forward nor making a sound. 

 

She was, in fact, dying to understand the nature of the relationship between the woman clinging to him and Ethan himself.

 

Now, it seemed she had her answer: the woman before her was his fiancée!
