Reconciliation

Leaning against the door with no guard up, Sarah Wilson nearly fell when it suddenly opened.

"Hey, Avery, why didn't you warn me before opening the door!" Sarah exploded in anger.

Wrapped in a towel, Avery stepped out confidently, placing the basin on the shelf, and flashed a bright smile at her, "How was I supposed to know you were there?"

Realizing her own mistake, Sarah clenched her fists in silent protest.

"Jessica…" Sarah turned to Jessica, who had drawn two tear streaks under her eyes with saliva, pretending to be aggrieved, "She's bullying me."

Jessica, donning white-framed glasses and holding a book up as if an elderly lady reading the newspaper with reading glasses, responded with a detached tone, "Serves you right."

Feeling betrayed by her sister, Sarah dramatically clutched her chest, whining for sympathy beside Jessica, making Avery laugh at the scene.
