The Genesis Twins Part Five - Reunion Part Two

"ACTIVATING DEFENSIVE BARRIER!" Lisia announced as the capsule reappeared and instantly deployed a transparent protective barrier around the entire family, shielding them just as the bullets came flying in. "What in the world is that?!" One of the assassins shouted in surprise. "I don't know what it is, just shoot it down!" the leader command as they emptied their clips.

"I can't believe they survived that", he said as they changed clips.

"Time for plan B", the leader said as they tossed a few grenades but the shields remained strong and unaffected. A bolt of lightning, out of nowhere, suddenly struck the ground between the two parties. The dust cleared to reveal a very beautiful lady with a long rapier on her side. "That's her", Sylvester said as the lady drew her sword. "She's a meta. Fire! Kill her!!" the leader shouted in a panicking tone as the assassins opened fire on her.

To everyone's surprise, she slit through every single bullet at unimaginable high speeds, doing so until they emptied their clips once again. At that moment, with a flash of light, she sped through the entire assassin group, slicing through all their weapons and knocked them out, astonishing the family and shocking the leader.

"This is impossible. There is no meta human in our database that can move that fast", the terrified commander said as he fell to the ground still denying the reality of what he had just seen. He pulled out his pistol and aimed it at her but she disappeared and reappeared in front of him in the next instant.

She grabbed his arm, twisted it and planted his face hard into the ground. She then snapped her fingers and streams of lightning appeared and bound all the assassins paralyzing them in the process. She sighed as she cheated her rapier and approached the family. As she got closer, Lisia deactivated the protective barrier. "AUTHORITY RECOGNIZED. GREETINGS YOUR MAJESTY", she said.

"Hello Lisia. Go ahead and re-integrate with your main system", the lady instructed as she reached them. "ACKNOWLEDGED!" Lisia said as the capsule flew away.

"You are her, aren't you? Our true mother", Sylvia asked in a low voice. "I am Silendiana, queen of Hexanza. And yes, I am your mother", she said to the twins who didn't even know what to say.

"This is no place to talk. The authorities will be here soon for these misfits. Let's retire to my home", she said as she turned and led them up a hill path, deeper into the jungle. The pod flew ahead and disappeared behind the hill. They climbed up to a small cabin at the top of the hill, shielded by a cluster of trees.

"This way", she said as she led them inside. The interior of the cabin looked like any other: simple and comfortable. "Anyone for a spot of tea?" she asked. "No thanks. We're good", Maxwell replied. "Right! Let's head down then", she said as she walked towards the fire place.

"Down?! This is a one floor cabin, right. Does it have a basement?" Clarice asked. "That is how it's supposed to look", Silendiana responded with a smile and pushed a button against the fire place. A small panel opened and she placed here palm on it. The panel scanned her palm and glowed green. "ACCESS GRANTED. WELCOME BACK, YOUR MAJESTY", Lisia's voice rang out. "Thank you, Lisia", Silendiana said as the fire place split in two and opened up, revealing an elevator door.

"Woah!!" the entire family shouted after witnessing what just happened. "So cool!!" Sylvester and Maxwell shouted; indeed , boys will be boys after all. "Let's go", Silendiana said as she led them into the elevator. It went down several meters and then came to a stop. The doors opened to reveal a high-tech laboratory full of futuristic technology.

"This is my home away from home; built with the finest of both Earth and Hexanzan technology". She led them to the pod that had entered via another route. The pod was fixed into hold in the ground. "As you are already aware of, Lisia is a sentient artificial intelligence system that controls all Hexanzan technology. The Lisia in your pod is a fragment of the True Lisia's main core".

"By reconnecting and integrating their data streams, they are back as one A.I unit", she explained to them. "But I still don't get it. How did all of this come about?" Sylvester asked. "Have a seat all of you. I will explain everything from the beginning. Let talk over a drink", she said as a female android in a maid's uniform approached them with a tray filled with tea and biscuits.

"PLEASE ENJOY", the android said as she set the tray down. "Lisia?!!" the twins shouted. "So, you noticed. This is Lisia's android form. This body is connected to her main core and can control anything she is connected to. A friend of mine on Earth aided me in her construction as well as the entire base", she said as the android bowed lightly and left.

Silendiana then proceeded to brief her children and their human parents; starting with the history of their world, the legend of the twin gods and ended with the destruction of their planet. She then spoke of the suspended animation over the course of the five-six-year journey through the rift in space.

She then concluded by speaking of what happened after she arrived on Earth. "Now be at ease", she said to Maxwell and Clarice. "I don't intend to take them away from you. I believe having human parents will be very good for my children. They deserve to live regular lives. I will focus on taking care of them my own way as well", she said to them giving Max and Clarice a sense of relief.

"Your powers are dangerous and you must learn to control and utilize them amicably. If for any reason your powers were to go haywire, you'll be capable of wiping out an entire city. My duty is to be your mother as well as your teacher. I will dedicate my life to raising you to be worthy of your title as the Genesis Twins", she declared to the twins.
