Vengeance

"REPORTING! SHIP HAS ENTERED THE PLANET'S STRATOSPHERE!" Lisia reported and they all looked up. There was a large ball of fire entering the Earth's upper atmosphere. Suddenly, the ball of fire split into two with the pieces heading in totally different directions.

"REPORTING! THE SHIP HAD A COLLISION WITH A TELECOMUNIATIONS SATELLITE AND SUFFERED DAMAGE, THE FORCE OF ENTRY SPLIT IT INTO TWO. RECALIBRATING CRASH POINTS....", Lisia started speaking.

"Don't bother Lisia, it's clear as day where they will crash", Silendiana interrupted suddenly.

"Yeah, from what I can see, one piece is heading for the center of the city and the other is heading for…", Delgato paused in shock after looking through the HUD display on his goggle screen.

"It's heading for the school stadium", Samuel added after tracking the fall path of the half of the destroyed ship with his sharp eagle eye sight.

"We'll take care of the piece heading for the stadium. I have the feeling that we'll come into contact with Caralcus and Caralmus if we go after that piece. Can we leave the other piece to you?" Sylvester asked his friend.

"Leave it to me. I'll deliver it to Doc for analysis and quickly join you", Samuel said and shot off in the opposite direction, chasing after the falling piece of the ship heading for the city center.

"Let's go! We need to stop the ship from destroying the school and injuring anyone", Silendiana said as she snapped a finger and they were teleported with a bolt of lightning.

In the city center, the masses were panicking as a large fireball was hurtling towards them.

Pieces of burning debris split from the falling ball of fire and rained down all over the city center. As they cowered awaiting their impending deaths, the falling ball of fire and all the falling debris suddenly halted mid-air.

As they turned to the sky, the frightened crowd was shocked to see the rumoured winged individual holding out an arm towards the falling balls of fire. They were awe struck at the same time fearful; after all, the greatest fear for humanity is the fear of the unknown.

In the sky above the city, Samuel kept the piece of the ship and its debris from falling by controlling the very flames engulfing it with his pyrokinetic ability.

After ensuring that there were no stowaways in the half of the ship before him, he used his ability and brought all the flaming pieces together with the main piece and flew under the entire flaming ship. He then took a deep breath and shot a beam of freezing ice breath; extinguishing the flames and completely encasing the ship in ice. He quickly switched to his cryokinetic ability to hold it in place.

He flew up to the ice ball and sunk his claws into it, grabbing a firm hold of it. He then flew away, carrying the large ice boulder that was the size of a three-storey building, leaving the crowd with shocked and grateful expressions.

Samuel flew quickly towards the base and delivered the ship to Dr. Michelson and Lisia for analysis. He then quickly turned, and flew back towards the battle that was currently going on above the school stadium.

...…...

Back at the school's stadium a few minutes prior, the game was extremely heated. Sienna Metro High was currently leading with six points with just a few minutes to go.

The entire stadium was hyped up as the students from Sienna High called for victory from their team while the students from Cape Metro demanded victory from their team.

After a great struggle, a team member from Cape Metro High managed to score a point and was currently sprawled on the ground breathing roughly and staring into the sky.

As he stared, he noticed a light in the sky that kept getting brighter and brighter. Noticing their colleagues shocked appearance, his teammates followed his gaze and looked into the sky.

The crowd quieted down as they were surprised by the team's sudden halt. Panic sparked as the crowd followed the players' shocked gazes and noticed the flaming ball barreling down towards them.

They scurried around trying to evacuate the stadium as the ball of fire got ever so close to ending them.

The dusk sky darkened suddenly as multiple bolts of lightning brewed within the darkening clouds and shot down simultaneously.

The bolts of lightning clashed above the stadium, its light temporarily blinding anyone who was unfortunately looking up.

The sound of thunder that emanated from the clash of lightning bolts echoed loudly in the auditorium stunning the entire audience.

Looking up, the audience saw the clashing bolts of lightning starting to merge together and expand wide.

The expansion continued until a large mesh net the size of the stadium made up of pure lightning was created above them. The giant lightning net caught the large fire ball and stopped its descent; to the relief of the audience.

The audience then saw four individuals floating in the air and surrounding the flame ball.

In the sky above the stadium, Silendiana, Sylvester, Sylvia and Delgato surrounded the burning piece of the ship. Since they could not properly identify the piece before them, Silendiana waved her hand and a wind storm descended from the dark clouds and surrounded the ship extinguishing the flames.

"I guessed right, this piece has the cockpit", Sylvester said as he cautiously approached the ship, intending on verifying whether it had living occupants. Before he could reach for the smoking door of the ship, it shot off its hinges towards Sylvester who evaded it skillfully and backed up.

"I though we'll have a harder time locating our prey. I never imagined that the prey would deliver itself to us", a voice echoed out of the ship as two shadows appeared at the destroyed entrance.

The brothers Caralcus and Caralmus stepped out of the ship and floated in the air above the lightning net. They had burnt marks across their body that were slowly healing by themselves, but their expression proved that that was the least of their concerns.

"It's time for us to have our revenge my dear queen Silendiana", Caralcus said with a sarcastic bow as he gazed at Silendiana with a malicious smile.
