School II

As she sprayed perfume on her clothes she suddenly heard a thud from his room she rushed over to his room to see two t-shirts torn on the floor and another one stuck on him. He struggled to put the shirt on and was on the verge of ripping it off him like the other two when Lily pulled it off him.

935 and Lily look at each other, Lily has a frown on her face as she looks at him, "What are you-"

Before Lily could ask, 935 interjected with by saying "It's not working, i tried wearing it like you showed me but its not working" he stated as he looked at the torn shirts on the floor.

Lily looked at him and the mess on the floor and sighed, she asked him how he wore it and he narrated everything to her in detail. When he was done Lily looked at him and started laughing, 935 stared at her puzzled as to why she was laughing.

"Sweetheart you" she burst out in laughter again, she laughed for a while before she calmed herself "You used the neck whole to wear the shirt, it's much smaller so you couldn't pull it down, here try this" Lily said as she put it on him after showing him, "Better?" she asked with a smile.

935 frowned and looked at her "You are mocking me Lily" he said as he stared her in the eye.

Lily let out a fake gasp and covered her mouth "I dare not young sir" she said feigning a serious tone before she began to snicker widely, 935 irritated turned to walk away but she held his arm back "Okay, okay Kai, i'm sorry" she said with a smile but he still gave her a blank stare.

Lily tugged at his shirt and said "Come on warrior, that was at least a bit funny" she pinched his cheeks and said "Smile even just a little" but 935 still kept a straight face as he looked at her. "Hey, come on now, smile?" Lily said as she smiled for him, but 935 didn't reciprocate, instead he had a bored look on his face.

Lily sighed and stood up, "Okay then, i give up. Time for school anyways so let's go" she said and without warning lifted 935 up and in her arms. 935 clung to her clothes as he tried to get a grip of himself.

Lily picked up her back, his bag and her car keys from the table and headed out the door. Lily drove 935 to the school, as she pulled over the school a teacher walked up to the car. Lily carried 935 out the car and dropped him before his teacher.

The teacher had a smile on her face, "Good morning I'm Evie" she greeted as she looked at 935, 935 stared at her for a while before he looked up at Lily.

"Good morning" Lily smiled nervously as she looked at the displeasure the teacher had on her face "Um... Kai say hello to your teacher" Lily instructed.

935 looked from Lily to the teacher before "Hello" he said in a hushed tone.

"Forgive my boy," Lily began as she handed 935's bag to the teacher "He's been home schooled all these years and isn't quite accustomed to people, he's a bit... um... Shy" Lily said with a nervous laugh which the teacher reciprocated with slight smile.

The teacher watched as Lily bent to whisper something in 935's ear.

"Please be good, if you feel uncomfortable just ask the teacher to call me, and don't stand out to much. We meet back here after classes" Lily whispered in his ear 935 nodded only for Lily to kiss him in the cheek and stand up.

The teacher could see the disgust in his face as he touched his cheek, using the mittens he wore he quickly cleaned her lipstick stain off him. Lily watched the teacher lead 935 in before she left for her work.

 .....

Lily parked in front of the school, it was already 20 minutes past schools closing hours. Lily waited by the car, she could see kids leaving, some left with their parents and others with their pairs. Parents walked in and out of the school grounds with their kids.

Her eye caught sight of the teacher she met in the morning walking out a child and she hurried to her, "Excuse me" Lily said, the teacher stopped and turned to meet her, she held the hand of the child she was with "Hi, sorry um i dropped off my boy this morning with you, hope you remember me, right Ms... Evie?" Lily explained

"Oh, yes Kai right?" Evie replied.

"Miss Evie, is she the mother of the green eyed freak?" the little girl Evie was with squeak out.

Evie and Lily looked at her "Shush, i told you kids not to call him that" Evie warned sternly, she looked back at Lily to see a scary frown on her face. "Ma'am if you'd just-"

Lily at the moment, didn't want to listen to the teacher, nor did she care as she immediately cut her off "Where's my son Evie" she said in such a tone that cared both Evie and the little girl with her, the little girl clung to Evie like a scared rat under the gaze of a wild hungry cat.

 .....

935 sat by the swing, he moved forward and backwards slowly. Suddenly a snowball hit him on the face and he looked up at a chubby kid.

"Green eyed freak!!" the chubby kid yelled and picked up another snowball, he was not a lone, beside him was a shorter kid, they both threw snowballs at 935 but he ignored them as he continued to swing himself.

Lily saw this and clenched her fist, the kids laughed as the taunted him, only for snowballs to land a hit at the chubby kids mouth and another hit the shorter kid in the face.

They all turned to see Lily glaring at them, 935 watched as the two kids hurried off when Lily began to approach them.

Lily reached the swing only to see 935's bag on the ground partially covered in snow, she bent to pick it up and heard him say "Very mature" Lily looked up to see him standing before her. "What did you say?" she asked.

935 picked up his bag "You said school would be fun, yet here you are throwing snowballs at children" 935 said in a bored tone as Lily got to her feet.

Lily rolled her eyes and said "Well at least I didn't just sit there while they threw snowballs at me" she retorted.

"You said I should not stand out" 935 began "If not, nothing would have stopped me from k-" the moment those words wanted to leave his mouth he quickly swallowed it and froze.

Lily sighed and put a hand on her waist as she looked at him "You would have K what?" she asked "Come on, finish your statement." she added.

935 balled his fist "Nothing" he muttered lowly as he walked away. Deep down he wanted to do worse than what they did to him. He wanted to hurt them, but the voice in his head and his common sense warned him against it.

He knew more than anyone else that the last thing he needed was to do something stupid so they'd use it to trace him.
