Meanwhile throughout the galaxy and beyond, word spread. A planet had resisted and defeated the Tyrant Dark God.
It was a monumental achievement that none apart from the Gods of New Genesis had done. Many races, planets and even other conquerors heard of this planet as new talks began.
On one such planet, a large platform could be seen. On the platform stood several long pillars, each one extending several metres into the air.
The pillars stood at the edge of the platform and at top of each pillar floated a short humanoid being, with blue skin and white hair.
They possessed enlarged heads that oddly matched their size as well as striking green eyes. Each one wearing a red robe with a lantern symbol on it.
At the centre of the platform stood a mighty construct, standing at a height of over ten metres tall. The construct was that of a massive lantern.
The lantern projected light throughout the platform but its fire wasn't orange, it was green and its light, glorious.
"Is this true I hear?" One of the beings asked
"It is, this could be a chance we can use against the Dark God, Darkseid" a purple alien in green clothing answered.
"Abin Sur, the Dark God's armies number in their trillions, this planet may have resisted and sent them back but how long do you think they would last under the true wrath of Darkseid."
"However a planet which can resist even a small portion of his armies will be a great ally in a our battle for peace and justice in the universe" one of the big headed beings said
"It still remains impossible for us to accept and ally ourselves with this unknown party, I propose we wait and watch to see how they grow"
"All in support of such notion"
"Aye/Yes" Several answers came from each on as The Purple man just floated and watched
This was a planet that had enough power to resist a branch of the Dark God's army. Even if they were weaker than the Lantern Corp now, it would make sense that they allied themselves with such a people
The enemy of my enemy is my friend, the Dark God was the enemy of all.
"Abin Sur, We understand your decision however, we have seen so much fail and fall, we will observe first before we ally ourselves with them, however, during this time, you are authorised to help them should they ever be in dangee"
"Thank You" the purple man, Abin Sur replied before blasting off into the distance and away from the platform.
"Ganthet you change and bend our rules as you see fit"
"No, I change in order for us not to be left behind"

Drusia,
I was finally awake, The Father Box now laid bare before me. Its semi-sentience long dead and it awaited me to implant a new one in.
Waking up I felt reborn, it was refreshing even to a greater degree than when I literally created the body. I could attribute it to the fact that even during that time, my mind had yet to rest.
