Harper was making an ambitiously expansive game, a new type of game with more options than the basic hack-and-slash, where exploration and cleverness were a legitimate course of action, not an extra-hard mode. But he died before he could complete his project. Only to be reborn in that world, as a normal person. Now he is in the world that he created and realizes that he knows things no one else knows, secrets only he knows. Harper sets off to find some of these secrets, wanting to make sure that he has the power to ensure that his world remains pure, that no one will have the power to ruin it like other games. And if the only way to do that is for him to get himself enough magic and mystical artifacts that he can determine the future of the world, then so be it. It wouldn’t be conquest if it was for a good cause. Right?

Theres only one problem right now. I have 14460 XP, and I need 15,000 for level 20. There is a guard at the dungeon who will be able to tell exactly what level I am, and he wont let me in if Im below the minimum. Its too dangerous to allow someone under level to delve, even if they have two people of higher level to protect them. Even though defeating one monster will probably be enough for me to level up, I wont be allowed to even try. Not until I get another 540 experience.


I already know Daniel and Petra too well to get much from cold reading either one of them. The whole point of cold reading is that you are making assumptions and deductions based on limited information. As soon as you know the person, it becomes less of a parlor trick and more of just something that anyone with a decent memory can do. And I have a great memory, thanks to my Intelligence being above 100.
