Qi Yue naturally wouldn't know what Hai Ruyue was thinking. As he sunk into deep sleep, the Kirin pattern on his body emerged even clearer than before. A swirling stream of black and silver qi encased his body. The battered body was rapidly recovering under the constant stimulation of the black and silver qi. Qi Yue's pale face finally regained a touch of color.

In his deep slumber, Qi Yue's mind was filled with vivid images of the pressure points from his memory. The points are even clearer now, and even seven points that he hadn't remembered precisely were appearing. Since his Kirin bloodline first awakened, it was the first time that it started to take effect. Was the Mo Kirin, always the king among the Kirin, only capable of restoration? Was Four Auspicious Clouds Kirin truly worthless? The first time in history, the Mo Kirin's bloodline heritage appeared, and even Zagru, who had inherited the Ten Generations of Buddha's Power, didn't know what the Mo Kirin truly possessed.

In sleep, time always passes very quickly. When the day was replaced by the night, there was an additional person in Qi Yue's room.

Hai Ruyue was still dressed in white, but now she was wearing a tracksuit. The black-framed glasses on her face were gone, and her long black hair was draped behind her back, reaching down to her knees. If Qi Yue could see Hai Ruyue now, he would definitely be very surprised. The rough, violent feel on her face was gone, replaced with a gentle softness, emanating a faint warmth.

Standing beside the bed, Hai Ruyue's hands continuously changed their position, emanating a milky white glow that brilliantly intertwined with the black and silver hues emitting from Qi Yue's body.

"Hmm, why doesn't it produce revulsion now?" Hai Ruyue muttered to herself in surprise. Her Ascending Dragon Cloud Power made contact with the Kirin breath emitted from Qi Yue's body, not only did it not evoke a reaction of rejection, but it also dramatically increased her power's circulation speed. It was quite impressive given her power had become liquid in her body - the most significant barrier in cultivation.

Hai Ruyue clasped her hands before her chest, slowly closed her eyes and concentrated on feeling the Kirin's breath. She discovered that the Kirin breath Qi Yue emanated was exceptionally gentle and warm, like the gentleness of a spring breeze, constantly oozing from his pores and then acting upon his body. Qi Yue's body temperature was very high, at least over forty degrees. Each cell in his body seemed to be filled with vitality, constantly breaking down and reforming. The injuries on his body were healing much faster than she had imagined. Particularly Qi Yue's heartbeat was exceptionally clear in the silent room, much stronger than the average person.

Slowly opening her eyes, Hai Ruyue's gaze was serene. She contemplated, "Right, the Kirin's breath is naturally the greatest aid to the cultivation of Zodiac Guardians, and his breath changes according to his thoughts. Because I hurt him severely earlier, from the bottom of his heart, he repels me, and his Kirin breath has a counteractive effect on my Ascending Dragon Cloud Power. But now, he's in a deep sleep with his consciousness completely submerged. The Kirin's breath has lost its discernment, allowing my cultivation near him to have a far greater effect. Indeed, he is worthy of being called the King of the Zodiac, even at this early stage of awakening his breath is this potent."

"Damn it, Hai Ruyue, I'm going to rape you." A arrogant voice suddenly sounded in the quiet room, even Hai Ruyue got startled. Qi Yue shifted in his sleep, perhaps as his injuries were disturbed, and a frown briefly appeared on his sleeping face.

Hai Ruyue glared at the rascal-like man with an air of annoyance. A flicker of rage appeared in her eyes, "Do all men think with their lower half? If not for the Kirin, huh..." Her ample chest heaved slightly, cold light flickered in her eyes, she bit her lower lip, but, in the end, decided to endure it. With an angelic face and devilish figure, Hai Ruyue became the object of pursuit for people of her age since her teenage years. This brought her many disturbances. She was, after all, just a woman, and there were men who could move her heart, but as a Zodiac Guardian, she couldn't pursue personal interests. She, after all, carried a heavier burden than Ji Mingming.

A knock sounded on the door, Hai Ruyue stated calmly: "Come in."

Uncle Zhou came in with a tray in his hands. On the tray was a big porridge pot, "Miss, I cooked some meat porridge for Mr. Qi."

Hai Ruyue nodded, "He should wake up soon. Uncle Zhou, no matter what happens to him, you needn't be alarmed, but remember to keep things secret. His identity is special and is very important to me."

Uncle Zhou smiled slightly, said: "Miss, do you still not trust me?"

Hai Ruyue's gaze softened significantly. She took the tray from Uncle Zhou and placed it on a table beside them. "How could I not? If I didn't, I wouldn't have asked you to care for him. You watched me grow up ever since I was a child, and I've always seen you as my father. You and my parents, you're all the closest people to me. If I have to choose the most trustworthy person in the world, it would definitely be you."

Uncle Zhou's body slightly quivered, he looked kindly at Ru Yue and said, "Silly child, Uncle Zhou will always be your Uncle Zhou. As long as you don't mind that Uncle Zhou is old, I will always accompany you. This young man named Qi Yue may be a little frivolous, but his nature is not bad. You gave him quite a hard time today. Was that necessary?"

As soon as she heard Uncle Zhou mention Qi Yue, Hai Ruyue felt quite irritated. She snorted and said, "People like him should suffer a bit. Let him think as he pleases. What I hate most are lechers like him. Didn't you see the look in his eyes when he first saw me? If it was not for his important status, I would have beaten him so hard that he'd be bedridden for months. If he doesn't learn a lesson, he will never change."

Uncle Zhou chuckled lightly and said, "Habit dies hard. As a young man, it's natural for him to be interested in the opposite sex, especially when the young lady is as beautiful as you. Miss, you are already 23-years-old, you should also consider your lifetime affair."

Hai Ruyue's face went slightly red, and she said, "Uncle Zhou, I really don't want to think about these things right now. There are too many things I still need to do."

Uncle Zhou sighed and said, "Miss, no matter what, you are a girl and there should be someone for you in the end. I know you bear a great responsibility, but that doesn't mean you should torment yourself. Please think about Uncle Zhou's words. What I hope most is to see you living a happy life."

Hai Ruyue nodded gently and said, "Uncle Zhou, I'm leaving. I will leave him to you."

Zhou Uncle asked, "Will you treat him that way again in three days?"

Hai Ruyue said lightly, "You know that once I make a decision, I won't change. This is the best way I can think of for him. Don't worry. His capacity to heal is very strong. He will be fine."

Uncle Zhou frowned slightly and said, "Perhaps his body will really be fine, but the way you treat him, it's a severe blow to his spirit. As a man, being humiliated and beaten, he might bear a grudge against you for a lifetime. You said yourself his status is very important to you, so why don't you make it clear? Tell him what you're thinking."

Hai Ruyue shook her head and said, "No, I can't tell him anything. If I did that, it would lose its effect. Let him hate me if he wants to. Even if he hates me more, what difference does it make? I just hope his survivability will be stronger. Are you really expecting him to surpass me in strength? I am going out first. Don't tell him anything when he wakes up."

After Hai Ruyue left, Uncle Zhou shook his head helplessly, "Miss, when will you change your obstinate temperament?"

Walking to the bed, Uncle Zhou was somewhat surprised when he saw the silver and black light emitting from Qi Yue's body, but he soon regained his composure. After checking his pulse he gently patted Qi Yue's face, "Qi Yue, wake up. You should have something to eat first, then continue to sleep."

A warm current entered his mind and Qi Yue slowly awoke from his sleep.

"Ah, Uncle Zhou, it's you!" Qi Yue couldn't help but groan as a sharp, needle-like pain came from his entire body. The places where he had been injured today seemed to be somewhat itchy amidst the pain.

Uncle Zhou helped Qi Yue sit up and brought the earthen jar to him. As the jar was opened, a rich aroma wafted out. Perhaps it was the scent of food, Qi Yue's stomach grumbled, causing Qi Yue to feel very embarrassed. Uncle Zhou smiled and said, "Eat something. You've been sleeping for a day."

Qi Yue looked outside the window and said, "It's been so long, I can really sleep. Thank you, Uncle Zhou." As he spoke, he took the bowl from Uncle Zhou and began to eat in large mouthfuls. Although his whole body was still in severe pain, his spirit was significantly better, and he was no longer in a state where he couldn't use any strength. Although Qi Yue himself didn't feel anything, Uncle Zhou was deeply amazed by his recovery speed. Back in the morning when he checked Qi Yue's body, he found severe bone and muscle injuries. Yet, in just one day, he could feed himself. Uncle Zhou was encountering this kind of recovery speed for the first time.
