Reshaping the Future

In an undisclosed location, a week after Wesley Barnes' monumental agreements with the tech giants, a high-level conversation was taking place.

"Madam, there have been some unforeseen market shifts," an aide informed a commanding woman, seated authoritatively behind her desk.

"Hmmm, explain?" she inquired, her voice steady and demanding.

"Well, Ma'am, Epic Games, Unity, and Meta experienced a surprising fluctuation. Their stocks dipped, then rebounded with over a 15% increase in just the past week. This caused a significant impact on our investments," he reported.

"How much did we lose?" she asked, her expression unchanging.

"After stabilizing our positions, our losses totaled nearly 57 million dollars," he admitted.

"And the cause of this market upheaval?" she questioned sharply.

"That's unknown, Ma'am. We're investigating," he assured her.

"Good. I have a meeting with President Biden soon. Make sure we have answers by then," she commanded.

"As for the family head race, your daughter Aurora is leading. However, your distant daughter, Sophia, is gaining ground," the aide added.

"Interesting... Keep me updated," she said, her mind already racing with strategies.

Back in Dallas, Texas, Wesley sat cross-legged on his apartment floor, immersed in his latest project. He had just checked his bank account, pleased to see another few million deposited from the Meta and Unity deals. The phone rang; it was the bank, offering him an exclusive Black Card, which he accepted with a sense of surrealism.

Once off the phone, Wesley refocused on the Wisp of Conversion. Throughout the week, he had conducted various experiments to gauge the limits of his newfound ability. How many times could he convert an object? Could he minimize the mana used? The questions were numerous, and through trial and error, Wesley discovered he could transform objects indefinitely, limited only by his mana capacity. With practice, he managed to use his mana more efficiently, but the extent of his capacity remained unknown.

Now, Wesley faced the real challenge. An old iPad lay in front of him as he stretched out his arms, focusing on its components. He envisioned transforming it into parts for a quantum computer – a task that required a deep understanding of qubits.

In contrast to traditional computers, which store information in binary (1s and 0s), quantum computers use qubits. These qubits can exist in multiple states simultaneously, allowing for the processing of vast amounts of information at once. This capability would exponentially expand the potential of current technology.

The qubits, stored within a superconductor, form the essential components of a quantum computer, including the CPU and GPU. Wesley's knowledge, years ahead of contemporary technology, guided him through the intricate process of creating these components. For over five hours, he focused intensely, feeling the mana drain from him as he slowly formed the necessary parts for a quantum server.

"I finished," Wesley gasped, exhausted but triumphant. His mana was nearly depleted. "I need to rest. I'll assemble everything at the warehouse and start up the quantum computer. The server room will serve as a distraction – my Trojan horse to protect me."

After a much-needed sleep, Wesley headed to the warehouse, carrying the quantum computer parts. The warehouse, a modest one-story building with an industrial brick facade, was just a few blocks from his apartment. Inside, the temperature-controlled room housed the server racks connected to his monitors.

Wesley began assembling the quantum computer. His KP balance had soared, now at over 500,000. More people were utilizing the upgrades he made to Unreal Engine, Unity, and Meta, boosting his KP balance significantly. He noticed that prices in the shop had also increased slightly.

With the installation of the quantum computer complete, Wesley turned his attention to programming. The most popular language for AI development was Python, but with his capabilities, he wanted something more advanced. Scanning the system's options, he considered languages the languages below:

[Avatar],

[Paragon+],

[Nexus--],

[Thoth++].

Each offered capabilities far beyond existing languages.

Meanwhile, Kohen sat in his office, mulling over his own aspirations and the possibilities of collaborating with Wesley on something groundbreaking. As he handed over his latest GPU cooling fan design, his thoughts drifted to what Wesley might be working on.

"Kohen, do you have the final rendering for the new GPU cooling fan?" his boss interrupted his daydream.

"Yes, here," Kohen replied, snapping back to reality.

"Great, send it to the shop for testing. I'll let you know about your annual performance later," his boss said, walking away.

Kohen sighed, his mind still on the potential of working with Wesley on something innovative.

Back at the warehouse, Wesley smiled at his KP balance. "It's time to use this for something bigger," he thought. He purchased a new programming language, one that promised to

revolutionize AI development.

"Hmm, I think I will choose [Hoth++] for the language. It has a very broad application for a language and is extremely efficient. This way, as well, when programming new tech in the future, no one will be able to decrypt what I have created because it is far ahead of its time."

The KP balance instantly dropping by 150,000 KP. "Damn I wish it never went up in price" Wesley thought to himself. Instantly the knowledge started flooding his brain and assimilating everything. Thus using the information it was time to get to work.
