I looked out of the window on a plane that had just taken off from Heathrow Airport.
As it rose higher, the view of London slowly turned into a network of lights, then glitters of sea, and finally invisible beyond the bed of clouds.
So this was it.
This was the end of my time with Hina here.
But I knew this wasn't just it.
Hina decided not to come to the airport with me. She wasn't mad. Not at all. She didn't even seem she was just resigned to accepting the reality. Rather, it seemed she genuinely believed this was best for me. She wanted me to be happy and she knew I wouldn't be happy by her side.
I felt an immense guilt in my heart. My lungs already craved for a smoke although the plane had taken off just minutes ago.
