After tossing around his bed, he finally slept at 5:00 am. He walked out of his room fully showered and refreshed.
"Look at them, waking up in the afternoon," he heard his mother's voice as he walked into the kitchen.
"Way, Layla is here," he heard her yell once more.
"I'll go to him," Layla replied. Being familiar with their house, she followed him to the dining room. Wave had also just woken up a few minutes ago and was having her brunch.
"You two are indeed twins, waking up in the afternoon," Layla chuckled as she watched them.
"Join us Layla," Wave looked up.
"Why not, I couldn't say no to that," Layla smiled as she sat opposite Wave.
"I have something to talk about," Wave spoke after a while drawing their attention. Way and Layla's eyes locked into each other before turning to face Wave.
"What is it?" Way spoke first curiously.
"I can't find a solution, not now but don't worry just bear with it a little while," Wave broke the news as she curiously watched Way to see any change.
"Way are you okay? Will you be fine?" Layla turned to him and then asked.
"Of course I'm fine, why won't I be?" He replied hiding a smirk. Deep down, he felt happy in a way. He suddenly looked forward to seeing Aidan.
"Weren't you mad and yelling for her to find a solution the other day, why does it seem like you are happy," Layla stared at him suspiciously. Everything about Way was weird at that moment.
"Yeah, you don't seem disappointed, or wait, have you fallen in love with Aidan?" Wave suddenly teased him.
"What? No? Can't I be happy? What's with falling in love," Way suddenly yelled angrily.
"Why are you getting all worked up, I was just teasing you unless it's true, you always get worked up each time I talk about you being in love," Wave added. They all noticed his difference but couldn't pinpoint it.
"Just let me be, I'm going back to my room," Way stood up and then said.
"Fine, just go I'll hang out with Wave, what do you say should we go for a walk? I've been hanging out with Way lately so I need some girl time for now," Layla spoke.
"Fine, just do as you wish but make sure you don't cause trouble I won't be there to help you," Way lamented. He knew when the two were together all they did was cause trouble and after they did, he was the only person who solved it. So each time Layla and Wave went out, it ended badly cause they either provoked someone. They were both naughty and extroverted unlike him.
"Don't worry about us, worry about yourself," Wave said.
"I'll go dress up, finish eating," Wave stood up and then went to her room.
"Have fun," Way said as he walked after Wave.
*****
Way walked into his room and then sat down on his bed drifted in thoughts.
"It's been three days, why isn't he summoning me?" He uttered at no one in particular.
"Did I really fall in love? Or is this what they call love at first sight? No, I'm not in love I'm just appreciating someone handsome, yes that's it," he murmured. He took out his phone and then opened the novel for any new chapters but there wasn't any chapter uploaded. He immediately shut it and then laid down on the bed.
"I wonder how he is, his injuries aaah jeez why am I thinking about him get it together Way," he couldn't help but think and tap his cheeks.
He stood up and then walked towards his study table and then retrieved a notebook and a pen and then began scribbling things.
"Aaah, jeez why am I doing this," he knocked his head slightly.
"It doesn't matter anyway, it's better I set things clear and right," he spoke again and then went back to scribbling.
"So where should I start?" He paused for a while and then continued," Ooh right, he first dragged me because of his injuries but why me? Next, he was in danger but how and why did I become a character? Or was it because I got entangled with the main lead? Wait, if that's the case why hasn't he summoned me lately, or is my part over? Wait, I'm a character am I a support role? If that's the case that means if the main character doesn't need me then I won't ever be dragged into the webtoon," he couldn't help but run his thoughts as he scribbled everything down as he tried to come up with a solution.
"I'll have to do this myself, since he doesn't need me I'll have to make him need and want me instead, and by that making him fall over me," after he said that, Way threw a wicked smirk.
He didn't know what was happening to him but deep down, he had fallen in love with Aidan. Despite all his excuses, his heart couldn't deny how he felt about him. At this point, Way didn't care about the hatred he had for the gay people all he had in mind was how to get Aidan to fall in love with him.
A few minutes later,
"Aaah, jeez not again, not again, not again," he suddenly spoke up as he looked around the place.
He was dressed in his pajamas, an old t-shirt, and rubber slippers. His hair was unkempt having woken up a while ago.
"Why did it have to be just now," he murmured angrily as he stomped his feet on the floor. He had spent the last few days looking good just in case he got dragged into the webtoon but unfortunately, nothing happened. But the moment he didn't care about his appearance was the moment he found himself dragged in abruptly.
"I guess this is my fate," he concluded as he looked around trying to grasp the place he was.
"So I'm at the hospital, that means Aidan is also here," he took a step forward as he looked around.
"What now? Aaah, I can't let him see me like this but I don't know anyone here what will I do? Way think," He slapped his head lightly but suddenly heard his voice. He turned around and staggered back in slight shock.
