Chapter 16 Plan B

"Way go get us water," Wave suddenly spoke.

"Why should I?" He argued again.

"So should I? You are the guy here shouldn't you be a gentleman for once?" Wave raised her eye brows.

"A gentleman? Pfffftt, him?" Layla bursted out in laughter and then continued," he can't let him keep dreaming,"

"Dreaming? I can be a gentleman do you think I will act like one with you? You aren't my type of girl rowdy, rude and never mind," Way said.

"Ooh, really am I? You aren't my type of boy also tch! You are rude, not manly enough and not a gentleman," Layla replied proudly.

"I'll go get you water, I'll show you how manly and how gently I can be just wait," he stood up and then walked out his shoulders raised proudly.

"Take your time," Layla yelled at his back.

"You did that on purpose didn't you?" Wave asked after he had gone.

"Yeah," Layla said with a laugh. Way was the kind of person who liked arguing and would never loose in one so the only way to get him to do something was that.

Wave raised her thumbs with a nod.

"Now let's talk about plan B," Wave said after a few seconds.

"I thought you would never ask," Layla smiled brightly.

"Did you come up with any idea?" Wave asked.

"No, but I thought of something, you can't end the webtoon at the moment right?"

"Yeah, I can't so?" She asked curiously.

"It's simple do away with the villain,"

"Villain there is no villain, I didn't create a villain," she explained.

"You did, the guy who went to kill Aidan a couple of times? Isn't that what you created him to do?"

"Ooh, right yeah so I should just kill him? Will that solve everything?" Wave asked not sure of what that meant or how that could help the situation.

"Yeah, think about it we don't have a problem with Aidan, he is the good guy and probably might be your brother-in-law so the best solution and way is to just do away with the villain simple, I'm a genius right?" Layla felt extremely proud of her genius plan.

"Why are you silent?" She asked after a while sensing that the atmosphere wasn't right and wasn't what she thiught it would be.

"Is there a problem Wave? Are you okay?" She asked again trying to draw her attention to her.

"Aaah, yeah I'm fine what is it?" She answered.

"You were silent for a moment what were you thinking about? Is the plan not good enough?"

"The plan is good, really good as a matter of fact but the problem is when I sent the villain after Aidan to end the webtoon I didn't exactly create the villain with an intent of being a person it was just a random thing," she explained as she stared into her eyes.

"So, does that mean the villain doesn't really exist?"

"I'm not sure, I created the villain so that meant he exists but the problem is he isn't in any specific form but the villain really exist," she said.

"Aaah, why is everything getting so hard and complicated, what now?" Layla asked as she crouched herself on the bed.

"What are you guys talking about?" Way walked in after a few seconds.

"Nothing, I was just telling Wave how her book has been getting popular lately," Layla replied.

"It has?" Wave asked in slight shock.

"Yeah, haven't you checked it? I bet one of the publishers will soon contact you,"

"Way, get the phone," Wave said a bit excitedly.

Ever since she stopped writing, she didn't pay attention to her book anymore especially with the whole dragging thing. She was too focused and had to balance between her work and looking for a solution. So when she heard that her book was getting popular, she was a bit shocked.

"Here," Way held out his phone to her.

"How did you know anyway," Way turned to Layla.

"You are a loner, so you wouldn't know maybe if you paid attention to everyone and ate lunch at the cafeteria with the rest of the staff you would know," Layla glanced at him.

"It's too troublesome and a hassle never mind," Way said. Aside from Layla, he didn't have many friends since he was always a loner and introverted. There was this side of Way that he didn't show it to others and only Wave and Layla experienced it.

"Troublesome, hassle you say that all the time but you should have a social life make friends at least what if one day we get married? You would be too bored and won't have any friends of your own I'm saying this as your friend Way," Layla turned to him.

"Otherwise as my wife?" Way couldn't help but break down into a laughter.

"Hahaha, we get it that was too funny," Layla mocked as she stuck her tongue out.

"Was that necessary? Anyway I heard you and if you guys ever get married that would mean I would have found the right person for me,"

"That feels so clingy," Layla shivered. She wasn't used to this side of Way.

"Wait, I'm having a 10,000 readers? Isn't it just a week?" Wave was shocked. This was always her dream. She wanted people to read and enjoy her work and it finally happened. She glanced at Way and suddenly felt everything that had happened wasn't all that bad.

"Why are you staring at me like that? I'm having goosebumps," Way shook his head slightly.

"I'm going home, let's meet at work tomorrow Way," Layla said.

"Why are you telling me?" Way glanced at her.

"Are you picking up a fight? Didn't you say you would show us how a gentleman acts? I guess you aren't," Layla teased.

"Aah, I totally forgot," Way said facepalming himself.

"Do you want a ride? Way can drop you off its getting late," Wave suggested.

"Why me?" Way turned to her.

"Who else should it be me?" Wave replied.

"Fine, I'll drop her off,"

"There is no need I'll take a cab,"

"Phew, I was hoping you would say that actually," Way couldn't hide it.

"Ooh, really? You are so sneaky anyway I knew you were waiting for that,"

"You knew? That's better you know me best," Way smiled.

"Enough you two quit flirting or better yet just get a bed," Wave yelled slightly with a chuckle.

"We are not," they yelled at the same time. Layla glanced at Way and then stomped out angrily.

"You guys seem like a couple of I wasn't your sister I would have thought otherwise," Wave said.

"Keep your dirty thoughts to yourself," Way said angrily before stomping out after a few seconds, he walked back in.

"Why am I the one leaving this is my room, now get out," he held Wave's arm and then dtagged her outside.
