Chapter 25 His fiancee

Aidan picked up his jacket suit and then walked to the company. Despite his assistant's interruption he was still in an extremely good mood. He whistled happily as he walked to his elevator shocking the employees around. As soon as he walked in his office, someone immediately jumped towards him. He subconsciously hugged the person and suddenly heard his assistant call him his eyes staring elsewhere. He followed his eye sight and immediately spotted Way standing a few meters behind him. It was at that moment that he realized he was hugging someone. The first thing that he looked at was Way's eyes, he shook his head watching Way's disappointed expression with no words to explain himself. He wanted to rush to him but he was glued to the floor dejectedly watching Way rushing out.

"What should I do Mark?" Aidan turned to his assistant feeling helpless. He had never experienced being caught up in a situation like that.

"I'll handle Cathy, follow him," Mark turned to him seeing that Aidan had agreed, he felt relieved. Aside from being Aidan's assistant, Mark was his best friend. Cathy and Aidan grew up together and were in an arranged marriage.

Way walked into the bathroom and then stood in front of the mirror. He didn't even know how he got there.

"Why did I run away? I'm so embarrassed right now, wait am I jealous? No that can't be, me jealous? What a joke. Hehe what cute together? They must all be blind I'm handsome too you know," Way couldn't help but mumble at himself. Suddenly, he thought of something he had read the whole book over and over again but there was no mention of Aidan's fiancee. Thinking of that, he suddenly got worried.

"I have to go back and find out what is happening sorry Aidan," he mumbled softly as he held the necklace Aidan had gifted him earlier.

Aidan rushed into the bathroom where he was told Way had rushed into his thoughts were running wild as he breathed heavily. Every step he took became heavy as his heart pounded heavily. He was scared. He has never been scared in his life but this time he understood the real meaning of loosing someone. He finally admitted to himself that he had deeply fallen in love with Way. He wasn't sure what to expect or how Way would be but he knew he had messed up. He softly prayed. After what felt like forever, he stood in front of the washroom door. He took deep breaths trying to calm down and hide his nervousness but all that was in vain.

After a few seconds of debating and pacing around, he walked in and then said," Way I know you are in there it's not what you think I can explain can you please come out so that we can talk it out?"

He waited for a few seconds but heard no movement. His heart was suddenly heavy as the worst thought came to him.

"Way? Are you in there?" He called softly with a shaking voice.

"Way, Way? Please," it suddenly hit him. He pushed the door one after the other hurriedly as tears rolled down his eyes. He felt utterly helpless. He crouched down on the floor and yelled out his name desperately.

Mark rushed in the bathroom after hearing all the yelling. He was shocked when he found Aidan on the floor crying desperately. He cold, nonchalant, aloof and domineering boss he always saw was no more. He rushed to him then helped him up slowly guiding him back to his office.

"Have a seat, I'll get you a glass of water," Mark broke the silence.

"No need," Aidan replied after calming himself down. Mark stared at his hands which held tightly a necklace. He immediately understood what was happening. Aidan was usually devastated each time Way disappeared but this time it was different.

"Should the bodyguards to look around?" He asked.

"No need," he watched Aidan look around for something or someone in particular.

"I sent her home," Mark quickly replied.

"Tell them I'm breaking the engagement I'll bear the responsibilities myself," he spoke angrily.

"Okay, got it what will you do now?"

"My schedule today?" Aidan asked totally ignoring the question.

"You cancelled the meetings because of the Young Master," Mark nervously said as he scratched his head awaiting his response.

"I take everything back, prepare the meeting room in the next twenty minutes," he angrily stood up, dusted his suit and then walked to his table. Mark watched the sudden mood change and he instantly knew they were done for. His workaholic side had been activated which meant more overtime.

"What are you waiting for?" Aidan glared at him angrily.

"Why is he mad at me, am I the one who left him tch?" Mark mumbled quietly before stomping out.

...

Way found himself in front of the restaurant where he was to go on a date. He quickly stopped a taxi then rushed home. As soon as he arrived home, he found Wave pacing around anxiously.

"Wave," he called out.

"Tch! What an idiot, you got us worried," Wave rushed towards Way and then hugged him.

"Were you the one who did it?" Way suddenly asked.
