Living Dead
"Grandpa Leo, you called?" Maddison picked up the phone call as it rang.
"Yes, how are you doing, Maddy?" Leo asked.
"Good, what's up?"
"I have Hugo Anderson here in my custody, ready for you to decide what to do with. That is if you want to. If not, Grandpa can take care of it for you."
Maddison bit her lip. Elias had left for work for the day. It was just her today. She gripped her phone a little tighter, thinking about what to do. She'd had a lot of time to think it through. That brought her to a conclusion.
It was time to close this chapter of her life.
"Maddy, if you want him dead just say the word. I'll get things sorted out. You wouldn't even have to-"
"No, that's not what I want," Maddison quickly replied, stopping Leo from continuing.
