As the first semester at U.A. High School came to a close, Shota Aizawa stood before his class, his gaze piercing through the room. "Now that you've finished up your first semester at UA High, it's time for summer vacation to officially begin. However..." His voice carried a gravitas that demanded attention. "Don't think these will be months of rest for you heroes-in-making. At this camp, we'll push you to go beyond your limits. You're aiming to become Plus Ultra!"Momo Yaoyorozu, sitting nearby, couldn't help but recall a conversation from the previous month. She leaned over to Izuku Midoriya and whispered, "So, he was talking about this last month, huh?"
Izuku, seated next to Momo, took her hand and replied, "I guess so." There was a certain weight in his response, a shadow of concern.Momo gently placed her hand on Izuku's head, her fingers tracing comforting patterns on his hair. "Don't be so downcast, okay? And by the way, in this camp, we will get stronger."Izuku freed himself from her touch for a moment, pulled a chair closer to Momo's, and rested his head in her lap, looking up at her with a soft smile. He noted her blushing face as she reminded him, "Izu, we're in class."
With a grin, he responded, "We'll leave soon anyway, so can you give me this moment, and..." He paused, turning his head away slightly, and continued, "I don't need to get stronger. If it reawakens the battle intent, then I... I might lose..."Momo didn't let him finish that sentence. She wrapped her arms around him, holding him close, and said, "Izu, nothing you do will ever put me in harm's way. I'll be with you every step of the way. And you have to make a peaceful world for our child. So, Izuku, you have to get stronger, okay? So that no one can harm our family."Izuku tightened his embrace around Momo and nodded in agreement. Their bond was unbreakable.
In the background, Ochaco, Kaminari, and Ashido were chanting enthusiastically about the upcoming camp, "Yeah! Camp! Camp! Camp! Camp!" But suddenly, Neito Monoma made an entrance with a sinister grin. "I heard some of Class A is taking extra courses. Does that mean they actually failed the final exams? That must be so embarrassing. Especially since you're supposed to be so much better than my class. All of you must be wallowing in shame!". Itsuka Kendo, not tolerating his taunts, swiftly knocked Monoma out and led Class 1-B out of the room. As the students filed towards the waiting bus, Minoru Mineta couldn't help but flash a lecherous smile, his imagination running wild. "The girls of Class A and Class B. It's like a buffet of... temptation," he whispered to himself, his thoughts wandering into inappropriate territories.Kaminari, nearby, sighed and shook his head, giving Mineta a stern look. "Dude, get yourself together. For real."
Meanwhile, Tenya Iida, not even the designated monitor, took charge, herding Class 1-A onto the bus efficiently. Izuku Midoriya and Momo Yaoyorozu, close as always, exchanged smiles, silently cherishing the opportunity to spend time together on this journey. Their hearts were entwined, finding solace in each other's company as they boarded the bus.
The bus rumbled to life and began its journey towards the remote training camp in the heart of the forest. Inside, Shota Aizawa, the ever-watchful teacher, attempted to instill a sense of discipline in his students. "Remember," he began, but his words were lost in the playful chaos that erupted around him. Laughter, conversations, and occasional bouts of mischief filled the air as the students reveled in the excitement of the adventure.
Momo and Izuku, sitting together, shared private moments and secret smiles, oblivious to the commotion around them. Aizawa couldn't help but mutter under his breath, "Why do I bother? Well, I guess this is the only time they'll have to fool around." He resigned himself to the antics of his students, knowing that the upcoming challenges in the forest would soon demand their full attention.
Class 1-A's journey led them to the serene mountain top around nine in the morning. As soon as the students disembarked, a flurry of questions erupted like a storm. Tenya Iida, the embodiment of discipline, wasted no time and brought down his usual hand chop, commanding, "Do not open that window!" The students followed his order, their curiosity momentarily quelled.
Kaminari, clearly relieved to be off the bus, sighed with satisfaction. "Finally. I needed off that bus," he declared, his posture relaxing as he stepped onto solid ground.Meanwhile, Minoru Mineta, a picture of urgency, rushed forward and blurted, "Let me get through, I gotta pee!"
Eijiro Kirishima surveyed their surroundings with an inquisitive glance. "Huh. This isn't much of a rest area," he noted.Jiro, ever sharp, eyed Kirishima and quipped, "No. And where's Class B? You don't really think we stopped here just so you could stretch your legs, do you?" The group's antics didn't go unnoticed as Mineta darted off, pleading for the toilet.
Suddenly, the arrival of two individuals drew their attention. One of them greeted Shota Aizawa with familiarity, saying, "Heya, Eraser!" Aizawa replied in kind, "Long time no see." The duo introduced themselves as the Wild Pussycats, and Aizawa provided context, explaining, "These are the pro heroes you'll be working with at the summer training camp."
The students echoed polite greetings with a chorus of "Hello! Nice to meet you!" Mandalay, one of the Pussycats, extended her arms, emphasizing, "We own this whole stretch of land out here. Everything you can see. The summer camp you're staying at is there at the base of the mountain."
The students looked down at the vast forest below, their expressions filled with awe. Someone, with a hint of shock, mused, "That's far! Uh. Then why did we stop all the way up here instead?" Sero chuckled nervously, and Aizawa, with a hint of amusement, remarked, "I'm afraid we both know the answer to that."
Another voice chimed in, urging everyone to return to the bus. "Um. Back on the bus. Quick. Let's go. Good idea. Load up." Aizawa, ever the pragmatist, reminded them of the time, saying, "The current time is in the morning. If you're fast about it, you might make it there by noon." Mandalay added a playful threat, saying, "Kitties who don't make it there by won't get any lunch."
Aizawa's stern voice cut through the chaos. "You should have guessed, students. The training camp..." Momo Yaoyorozu completed his sentence, realizing the truth, "...has already begun." Just as the realization settled in, the ground beneath them started to shift, and a student cried out, "What the heck?"
Momo quickly deduced, "She must be controlling the ground!" Fear and panic coursed through the students, and screams filled the air.
Mandalay, attempting to restore some order, called out, "Good news! Since this is private land, you can use your Quirks as much as you want to. You've got three full hours. You should be able to make it to the facility in that time. That is, if you can get through The Beast's Forest."
Amid the chaos, Mandalay took a moment to question Shota Aizawa about the packed schedule he had outlined for the students. Aizawa responded with a hint of determination, "Yeah. We're hoping we get an entire second semester's worth of knowledge in them here. That's going to take an intense amount of work. But the rewards'll be worth it. They'll get permits to use their Quirks if there's ever an emergency. And provisional licenses that will allow them to work as heroes. Most importantly, with all the villainous activity we've been tracking..."
Suddenly, a resounding boom interrupted their conversation. All eyes turned upward to see Izuku Midoriya, with Momo in his arms, hurtling down towards them. In a flurry of panic, they all backed away as Izuku landed, creating a small crater on impact. Izuku grinned, addressing his teacher, "I guess you forgot about me, sensei."
Aizawa sighed in response, "Yes, I forgot about your super strength." He fixed a serious gaze on Izuku, adding, "Just go and complete the exercises properly, problem child."
Izuku was about to turn away when Aizawa called him back, using his nickname, "Problem child." Izuku turned to face his teacher once more. Aizawa continued, his gaze unwavering, "You don't need to participate in this exercise; it's not effective against you. But Yaoyorozu should. Yaoyorozu," he shifted his attention to Momo, "you should lead the team to the camp." Momo nodded eagerly, ready to take on the responsibility, and with that, they all began to prepare.Class 1-A found themselves scattered amidst the treacherous Beast's Forest, their initial training exercise taking an unexpected and challenging turn. The effect of Pixie-Bob's Quirk had left them disoriented and divided, their bonds momentarily disrupted. Yet, in the midst of the confusion, Momo Yaoyorozu, renowned for her sharp intellect and calm demeanor, stepped forward to take charge.
Momo cast a discerning gaze upon her disheveled classmates, their faces reflecting a mix of anxiety and uncertainty. With a determined expression, she raised her hand, a symbol of both authority and unity. Her voice, steady and commanding, pierced through the chaos. "Alright, everyone, stay calm! We need to regroup and make our way to the forest lodge before sundown. Stick together and follow my lead."
Her leadership was evident, and even the assertive Bakugo couldn't help but question, "You climbed up that cliff earlier. What did Mr. Aizawa say?" Momo, without hesitation, replied, "Mr. Aizawa instructed us to complete this exercise, as it offers valuable growth opportunities. He also designated me as the leader for this scenario."
The other students, recognizing the need for a clear leader in this trying situation, readily accepted her authority. The group gathered around Momo, their trust and confidence in her unwavering.Momo began to formulate a plan, her strategic mind at work. "We should head in that direction," she stated, pointing towards the camp's general location. "Let's move quietly and cautiously. Remember, this is a training exercise, but we mustn't be caught off guard."
Under the eerie, orange-hued light of the setting sun, Class 1-A continued their arduous journey through the Beast's Forest. The day will be filled with trials and tests, but their indomitable spirit and Momo's strategic guidance propelled them forward, inching them closer to their goal: the forest lodge.
Deeper into the heart of the forest they ventured, until they stumbled upon a dense thicket of rocky, thorny vines that seemed to stretch endlessly, forming an imposing barrier blocking their path to the lodge. These were no ordinary vines; they were animated, seemingly sentient, actively reaching out to ensnare anyone who ventured too close. It was a test set by the Wild, Wild Pussycats, designed to challenge the students' resourcefulness.
Momo, leading the group, assessed the situation with a thoughtful gaze. The thorny vines writhed and hissed, a malevolent presence in their path, eager to trap their next victim. The students recognized the peril of confronting the vines directly, understanding that it could deplete their energy and hinder their progress.
Momo, displaying her characteristic decisiveness, spoke up, "We have to find a way around these vines without getting caught. Engaging them head-on would be too risky." She immediately set her plan into motion by engaging her classmates, collecting information about their quirks, strengths, and weaknesses.
Fumikage Tokoyami, known for his Dark Shadow, was tasked with summoning his shadowy ally, which could act as a protective shield to fend off the thorny vines while creating a smokescreen of darkness to obscure their movements. Mina Ashido, with her acidic quirk, would use her abilities to dissolve parts of the vines, creating small openings for the group to slip through. Bakugo would be the explosive solution, obliterating any remaining obstructions. Todoroki, on the other hand, would freeze sections of the vines, rendering them brittle and breakable. Kirishima, with his hardening ability, would follow up to shatter them, though it was a risky endeavor, and he would only engage when Bakugo and Todoroki were occupied. Jiro would employ her earphone jacks to detect subtle vibrations in the ground, allowing her to predict where the vines would strike next.
With their roles and responsibilities clearly defined, the students formed a coordinated plan to outsmart the animated vines. Their teamwork and control over their quirks became their most potent weapons as they meticulously navigated their way through the thorny maze. It demanded precision, timing, and unyielding determination to evade the grasping vines. Yet, united by their shared goal, they pressed on, determined to reach the forest lodge before the encroaching nightfall.
As the final student emerged from the thicket, triumphant glances were exchanged. Momo's leadership, coupled with the collective strength of her classmates, had guided them through this formidable obstacle.
Deeper into the forest, the path to the lodge had been fraught with challenges, but what lay ahead surpassed any obstacles they had faced so far. It was a colossal creature, a towering fusion of earth and vegetation, its presence announced by a menacing growl that reverberated through the trees. This formidable entity was yet another trial set by the Wild, Wild Pussycats, an ordeal designed to test the mettle of these young heroes-in-training.
Momo Yaoyorozu, their appointed leader, surveyed the situation with a discerning gaze. She recognized that they needed to combine their strengths and act in unity to confront this creature effectively. Drawing a plan in the dirt, she turned to her classmates, her voice steady and composed. "Listen up, everyone. We must work together to face this creature. Aoyama, concentrate your Navel Laser on its core. Mina, your role is to deal with the creatures at the back. Iida, ensure the group's safety. Uraraka, lift the creatures near us. Ojiro, manage the ones Uraraka lifts. Kirishima and Sato, coordinate to eliminate the nearby creatures. Shoji, keep a vigilant watch on our surroundings and provide assistance where necessary. Jiro, pinpoint the creature's location for us. Sero, use your tape to immobilize the creatures, with Mineta's Pop Off quirk providing support. Tokoyami, allow Dark Shadow to assist Shoji as needed. Todoroki, focus on the creature to the front right. Bakugo, deal with the one on the front left."
The students absorbed Momo's instructions with determination and trust in her leadership. As the menacing creature lurched forward, causing the very ground to tremble beneath them, they sprang into action, their movements synchronized and resolute.
With perfect coordination and unyielding teamwork, Class 1-A students worked together to subdue the monstrous creatures. Momo's swift thinking and exceptional leadership skills, combined with the unique abilities of her classmates, proved to be the key to their victory. As the dust settled and the defeated creatures lay still, they regrouped, ready to continue their journey through the Beast's Forest, fortified by the knowledge that they could face any challenge with their collective strengths and indomitable spirit.
"Excellent work, everyone!" Momo declared, her voice filled with pride. "We've overcome this obstacle. Now, let's head inside and take a well-deserved rest."
As they stepped into the lodge, a collective sigh of relief escaped their lips. It was time to rest and recover after the physically and mentally demanding trials they had endured in the depths of the Beast's Forest. Momo's leadership had not only steered them through the wilds, but it had also established her as a capable and trustworthy leader in the eyes of Class 1-A.With the onset of evening, the students shared a sense of unity and accomplishment. They were acutely aware that the challenges ahead would be formidable, but they also recognized that with Momo at the helm and their unwavering determination, they were prepared to confront whatever obstacles lay in their path.
Sero couldn't help but voice his confusion upon seeing the pro heroes. "You said it would only be, like, three hours!" Mandalay, with a sheepish expression, responded, "I guess we timed it based on how long it'd take us. Sorry!"
But their playful banter was interrupted by a voice from the group. "Now you're braggin' about how much better you are? That's so mean! I'm starving. This is hell."
Pixie-Bob, the pro hero, stepped in with her characteristic feline mannerisms, saying, "Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow! I thought it would take you kids even longer. But, you did much better against my dirt monsters than I thought you would. You guys were seriously great. Especially your teamwork was exceptional; it's one of the best I've seen so far."With these words of encouragement, the students felt a surge of pride. They proceeded to satisfy their hunger, relishing a well-deserved meal, and then retired to rest for the night, knowing that they had faced the wilderness and emerged victorious.
