Chapter Lenght : 1387 Words

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I parted ways with Caera and went to my room. Cynthia had arranged a beautiful house for me within the academy, like a small mansion prepared specifically for me. Children standing in front of the door seemed eager to know who the owner was, as if they were waiting to catch a glimpse.

Passing through them, I reached the door and called out to the security inside. "Hey, open the door so I can enter my house," I said, and the security responded promptly with a respectful tone, "Of course, sir. Please wait; I'm opening the door." The surrounding crowd looked shocked at me and Caera.

"Let's go inside, Caera," I said, and together we entered the mansion. The place was truly spacious and everything seemed to be designed exclusively for me—simple and organized.

"This place is indeed suitable for us, but I would have preferred the cave," Caera remarked mockingly.

"I really don't want to go back to that cave," I replied.

"Ah, and no one can disturb us here," I said to Caera, who blushed.

"I'm starting to be afraid of living alone with you now; maybe I should ask Cynthia to give me a separate room," Caera said, feigning annoyance with a blush on her face.

"Hahaha, that won't happen because you'll be living with me forever," I told Caera.

"I'm beginning to think that all the questioning was for this reason," Caera said with a mocking tone.

"It's too late to give up now because I've already decided, and I'll never let you go; you'll always be with me," I declared to Caera.

Hearing my words, Caera smiled, hugged me tightly, and I reciprocated, holding her as if I would never let her go.

We spent a few hours at home, and in the evening, Cynthia arrived.

"Hello Osto, how are you?" Cynthia greeted.

"It seems like we're meeting too often, Cynthia, and I don't like it. Just tell me why you're here," I said with a cold tone.

"Alright, I wanted to have a chat with you, but since you're not in the mood, let's get straight to the point. I want to enlist Caera in the disciplinary committee," Cynthia said, surprising Caera.

"No, it's not happening; I won't allow it. She won't join," I objected firmly.

"Can't we wait for her answer?" Cynthia suggested.

"Even if she wants to, I won't allow it, so no, she won't join," I affirmed, looking at Caera, who reluctantly nodded in agreement.

"Well, then our brief meeting ends here," Cynthia said and left.

Shortly after she left, we stood up and went to the dining hall for dinner.

On the way, we encountered Tessia, who decided to accompany us and started asking questions about Caera and my relationship. While Caera answered most of the questions, I also provided some answers.

When we reached the dining hall's entrance, we saw a kid bothering Arthur. Tessia quickly intervened, using plant magic to prevent Arthur from harming the child.

"Arthur, I warned you not to get into trouble, and you're still at it. Do I need to beat you to make you stay calm?" I scolded Arthur.

"Hey, Osto, calm down. This wasn't my fault; the kid approached us. It's not my fault," Arthur replied with a regretful expression.

"I think this academy is becoming a nuisance. Maybe I should retreat into seclusion and distance myself from people," I thought to myself.

Caera chuckled upon hearing my thoughts, and I joined her in laughter.

"Now, Tessia, deal with this; I'm going to eat," I told Tessia, shifting the responsibility to her.

"Hey, Arthur, go and help your girlfriend," I instructed Arthur, pointing to Tessia, and the entire dining hall was in shock.

I looked at Tessia and saw her blushing, while Arthur, realizing I was serious, quickly left with Tessia.

"Caera, let's go and have our meal. This academy is annoying even on the first day," I said to Caera, and she followed me.

We had our meal, and that concluded the eventful day.

The next morning, I woke up, saw Caera again, and felt genuinely happy. She was adorable, and she loved me a lot. Thoughts crossed my mind like, 'Should I take her and retreat into seclusion? Perhaps we could be extremely happy that way.'

Then, the problems with Alacryan came to mind. I needed to resolve them quickly so that I could relax peacefully with Caera.

Later, I woke Caera up, and we headed to the academy. It was time for my first class.

I opened the door and entered; the entire class was talking about nonsense.

I went to the center of the stage and used a Voice spell to address them. "SILENCE," I said.

"Now, either listen to me or leave, because if you stay for the entire class and don't come to the next one, you'll be expelled from the academy," I declared, and a few people left.

"Now that the trash is gone, let's continue with the rest of you," I said.

"First, let me introduce myself. I am Apostolos Leywin, the most powerful, and I will teach you how to use your Mana," I announced to the class, and everyone wore a shocked expression on their faces.

"You might wonder how I am the most powerful, but I don't have the intention to prove it to you. Everyone who needs to know about my power already does. Now, let's start the lesson," I continued.

"Firstly, get rid of your foolish ideas about Mana. Think of Mana as a living entity; it exists in everything, even in things you believe have no Mana. Mana controls your life; don't ask it to do something for you—request it. Tame it so that you can control it more easily," I explained, and a Mana ball appeared in my hand, made entirely of pure Mana, surprising the class.

"Pay attention to this Mana ball. Now, I'll transform it into a fireball," I said, and the Mana ball in my hand slowly transformed into a fireball.

"I did it slowly for you to see, but in reality, I don't need to wait. When you start requesting things from Mana instead of forcefully pulling it, you'll realize how much easier it is to perform magic, and your Mana won't deplete as quickly. Now, try having a few of you come up and attempt this," I suggested, selecting a few volunteers.

Initially, none of them succeeded, but with the guidance I provided, they made some small progress, and one by one, I helped them progress along this path.

The class went on for 20 minutes longer than usual, but no one seemed bothered because I was empowering them, and they were aware of it.

"That's it for today's lesson. See you in the next class. Repeat what I taught you today two or three times daily, and you'll see improvements within a month," I concluded, leaving the classroom and heading back to the mansion.

When I arrived home, Nocturne jumped on me. Seeing him, I realized that I hadn't spent much time with him lately.

Nocturne transformed into human form, appearing as a girl of nearly the same age as me, but incredibly cute. [IMAGE]

I stroked Nocturne's head and laid him in my lap.

"Osto, why aren't you spending time with me like before? You're truly upsetting me; I don't have anyone else but you," he said, and upon hearing this, I felt deeply saddened. I lifted him up and embraced him.

"I'm sorry, Nocturne. It won't happen again, and I'll spend more time with you. How about going on a little excursion now?" I suggested. It was still early as my first classes had finished.

I teleported with Nocturne to a forest, where he transformed into his dragon form, and we started exploring. I hadn't seen his true size for a long time, and during my absence, he had grown significantly. Now, he was approximately 100 meters long, a massive dragon. Nocturne mentioned that this wasn't his full length and that he had the capacity to grow even larger. [IMAGE]

I'm curious about the reactions of others when they see him. Most likely, when he reaches his full size, disaster will befall this world.
