There was an uproar the moment I walked into the castle, and for a split second it had me concerned for my own safety. That was when I took a better look at the faces of the screaming men and figured out that they were happy to see me return home.

"Is there something you'd like to tell me?" I asked the nearest guard before me.

Quickly gathering his composure, he stood at attention and quickly relayed the cause of the uproar to me. "The Alpha couldn't find you at Blood Moon pack, he was worried for your safety and had sent out a search party for you. We're all happy to see you safe."

My heart flustered at his words, and suddenly my cheeks were beet red. 'Klaus, he cares about me?' I said inwardly while I fantasized about how worried he must have been.

Walking past the still standing guard, I immediately rushed towards Klaus's room. I didn't want him to worry anymore, to ease him of his unrest, I had to present myself to him.
