Luciano arrived at the bottom of the stairs and in the basement. He gasped upon looking around, the room was not small but appeared cramped with all the boards and shelves scattered in it. He could see paper and documents on every surface in the room including the floor but what caught his attention was how none of what was on the papers was....normal
There were either pictures of places that he thought did not exist or paragraphs written in a language that he had never seen before and he had seen a lot of languages.
"Luciano, come here" Delilah called out when she noticed her son was already in the basement and Luciano turned to find her before walking towards the huge bulletin board standing right next to the equally huge chest Delilah was standing in front of. He stopped in front of the bulletin board and stared at the huge map pinned onto it with a raised brow
"blood race terrain, the witch's harbour, were kingdom, what the hell is this?" Luciano asked turning to Delilah while pointing at the the strange language used to indicate stuff on the map
"it's the ancient language" Delilah answered and Luciano chuckled lightly
'ancient language huh?'
"why can I read it?" he asked as he watched Delilah begin to unlock the chest and open it
"Your father taught you" she replied and Luciano raised a brow. As if she could read his mind, Delilah added "you had forgotten because when your father left, you wanted to forget everything relating to him" Luciano chuckled again while shaking his head
"how foolish of me" was all he could mutter tearing the map off of the bulletin board then folding it and putting it in his back pack.
Finally, after a lot of ransacking, Delilah took out a smaller chest from the huge one that was locked
"here, you'll need this" Delilah said standing up straight and holding it out for him to take. Luciano took it from her
"it's locked" he stated and Delilah nodded
"you'll have to find the key yourself" she said and Luciano groaned before walking towards the chest as she stepped away for him.
After searching for a while, he found the key and picked it up. A small blast drew his attention away from it and he looked back to see Delilah standing in front of what looked like a door to another place, he couldn't see the place though because light was pouring out almost blinding him when he tried to look in.
Delilah turned to face Luciano and smiled
"Luciano, you are the son of Deregardo Holiff, a beast and a fighter. Your father said that once this door was opened, the count down would begin" she paused as he walked up to her and she hugged him
"Take care of yourself while I'm gone" he muttered pulling away and Delilah nodded
"Be careful"
Luciano smiled at her a bit then walked through the door. Once he had passed, the door cut by itself and disappeared. Delilah rubbed the tears that escaped from the corners of her eyes away and took out her phone from her pocket to dial a number
"Hey aunt Delilah, what's up?" The person answered
"Fey, get your things ready and come over to the house, we're leaaving" Delilah instructed hurriedly. Fey raised a brow where she was
"Leaving? To where?" She asked
"No time to explain just do as I said" Delilah muttered walking towards the steps
"Sure, okay, I'll be there by tomorrow morning" Fey said then cut the call. Delilah dialed another number as she began climbing the steps back up but the person did not pick so she sent a message
Mrs. Deregardo: hey Leila, if you still want to come, be here by tomorrow morning.

Con Faction Headquarters
A man with dark hair stared at a glass ball with a bored expression on his face, he stretched out his hands yawning. Suddenly, the ball emitted a white light and began to slowly crack. The man straightened his posture and quickly picked up the ball with both hands standing up
The ball exploded before he could take a step.
There was a lot of commotion in the Faction HQ as the information building had caught fire. A lot of Faction members crowded around the blazing building as the specialists tried to put out the fire.
At the central administrative building, a young lady with short and fluffy brown hair ran through the hall way and pushed open a set of double doors
"Master Brooke!" She called rushing over to the tall muscular man with dark curly hair and brown eyes at the centre of the meeting room
"What's wrong Ilia? I've warned you about running into the administrator's meeting room" Brooke said with a sigh and Ilia (i-lia), a little too short for her age nodded vigorously and her hair shook wildly
"I know, I know Master, but the information BUILDING is on fire and you are still asking me What's wrong?!!" She basically yelled. Most of the other Faction members in the room that heard shook their head, this was the only master-servant pair in the entire HQ where the servant could yell at or scold the master.
Brooke pressed his palms on his ears as he shook his head
"Easy on the ears Il" he muttered making Ilia puff out her cheeks and pout. Brooke dropped his hands patting her head softly with one as he smiled at her, Ilia's wolf ears twitched and her tail swept from one side to the other
"There's probably a reason okay? Don't worry" he said and Ilia nodded smiling with her eyes closed as she enjoyed Brooke's petting her, Brooke's smile grew until it eventually fell upon hearing the next line of words that sounded in the room
"The ULTIMATUM has returned!!!" The room became quieter than it already was as everyone turned to look at the person who dared to mention the long-since disetablished and banned title. Ilia's ears and tail drooped when she felt Brooke freeze up
She looked up to see his expression tense as he clenched, unclenched then clenched his jaw.
The dark haired guy who was watching the glass ball earlier could barely stand as he was covered in major burns and his own blood but he couldn't hold the wall for support either since he had no hands. The medics broke out in cold sweat as they tried to take the injured guy away. Brooke held up his hand to stop them
"What did you say?" He asked, everyone in the room shivered from how cold they suddenly felt. The bloodied guy couldn't care less, his pain as well as any other sensors on his skin had already been burnt up in the explosion
"The Ultimatum has returned" he repeated. Brooke squinted in askance as he glared at the man
"Rekia (re-kya), your words alone are enough to sentence you to execution" he stated taking a step forward. Ilia grabbed his hand quickly oth of hers to stop him from doing anything but her head remained down so she didn't see his face, Brooke glanced back at her before stepping back to his original position
"I know that, the locator exploded, it IS the ultimatum" Rekia responded not backing down, Brooke remained staring at him causing Ilia to tug at his hand. He looked down at her then began to pet her head again, this time to calm himself while Ilia looked up at him worriedly
"Get me coordinates" he instructed no one in particular but no one was dumb enough to wait for him to get specific and the room became busy as people moved from one place to another
"Rekia, you deserve punishment for mentioning that accursed title in the Con Faction HQ" he said to the injured man. Rekia simply stumbled backwards and allowed the medics to haul him onto a stretcher and out of the building.
Brooke clicked his tongue in annoyance, the guy had already almost died so there was no need for a punishment, plus, the information was actually pretty useful to him.
A low, cute whine drew him out of his thoughts and he looked down to notice he had stopped petting Ilia on the head and that she was staring up at his face which he was sure held a not-nice expression.
"Don't worry Il (il), I'm fine okay?" He smiled, not a fake smile, an adoring one, he could never stop wondering how someone could make being a wolf so damn cute.
Ilia nodded sensing that his aggravation was gone and simply let him pet her
"What are you going to do now?" She asked some time later as she hugged him. He stopped petting her and hugged her back
"Wolf-hunting" he muttered in reply as he smirked.
Later that evening a three-wolf squad, was put together to go on a mission, a mission to capture the run away alpha
'Finally, the scores will finally be settled' Brooke thought with a smile.

Leila blinked her eyes continuously until her sight was no longer blurry, she tried sitting up but the pain in her body made her wince. She thought back to what happened and couldn't help smiling, sadly she was only destined to feel it once. Her smile fell and she clenched her teeth bearing the pain as she stood up. She pulled the duvet along with her to cover herself and stared at the face of the man who was laying in the bed out cold, it was almolst three in the morning.
After she walked into the bathroom and took a shower, she got dressed in some pants and button-up shirt and went to the kitchen. Despite the time being so early, the head maid was already in the kitchen boiling some water. Leila smiled as she greeted her
"Good morning Mrs Cherry" she said cheerily walking to the sink to wash her hands as she started taking out ingredients to cook, she was leaving in a few hours, might as well stop the act.
Madam Cherry could only stare at Leila with an 'are-you-sick?' expression
'Is this the young miss that master brought home? The famed bitch of all bitches' she thought completely alarmed, she had never really crossed paths with the lady despite her many years staying there because she had already heard how horrible a personality the young miss had so she actively avoided her.
Now facing a polite young miss, she didn't know how to respond.
"Young miss you don't-"
"Ah don't worry Mrs. Cherry, I'll be done soon. Later when the master wakes up, reheat it for him to eat, okay?" Leila said cutting Cherry off as she cut pieces of bacon into strips. Cherry could only nod and watch.
About an hour later, Leila stood in front of the Frankescher building holding the small travelling bag she had packed earlier. She was slightly displaced, she was running away but didn't know where to.
She laughed to herself silently as she took out her phone from her back pocket finally turning it on. Immediately it came on, a particular message flashed on the screen and she couldn't help smiling as tears escaped from her eyes. She sent a message back
Leila: I'll be right there big mum.
She hailed a taxi and got in
"Where to missy?" The driver asked
"City woods" she answered. The driver nodded putting the car into gear and driving off.
