this story is quite good the introduction to the world of pokemon, the differences with the game world and the reality that mc now lives but what hits harshly this story in my opinion is the use of a lvling system for the pokemon while also not focusing on it often clashes with the story. In my opinion the author should either stick with one or make the fighting more realistic between pokemon a great reference if he is interested to study is A random pokemon journey by Loskro.
I would say this story could have been pretty good, 'I like a good pokemon fic', but it's ruined because the mc is a child. Based on the one year time limit that the mc set, there's not going to be a time skip for the mc to actually grow up and will probably stay a kid the entire story.
