A Path For Him

"Huh?"

Everyone on the scene had surprised expressions with bewilderment as they were dumbfounded by the unharmed hand inside the greenish water.

"How's that possible? Your hand—it's not dissolving it" Jabbar was in disbelief, he wasn't able to grip the situation.

Clark took out his hand from the flowing water, it was fine except for being wet with the water, however…

Drop… drop…

The liquid drops slipped from the hand to the ground, and the greenish grass that was once alive turned dry and died out when the drop came in contact with them.

Kamal has set his eyes on the grass where the drops had fallen.

The grass colour changed, and the effects are still there, Maybe…

His eyes lifted to Clark who was giving an uncertain look to his hand as he wasn't sure himself why the water effects didn't work on him.

"My hand is completely fine," he nervously said in a lower voice.

[Permission Granted]

[You're allowed to Pass the Barrier]

Allowed? That means I can pass the barrier and it wouldn't harm me?

[However, only You have been granted the permission to pass the Barrier as for others they aren't allowed]

Shifting his front face to others direction, he remained silent and gave out a gaze. No one knew what was wrong with him as he wasn't speaking.

"What's wrong?"

Breaking the silence, Clark spoke up "I think I know a way", finally found a way to pass through the barrier except the other fours wouldn't be able to.

But there was a problem.

He couldn't tell them directly that he is only allowed as they aren't because this would raise a question to how he knows?

A brilliant idea struck in his mind, he quickly said. "The river talked to me"

"What? Talk to you?" Sara said out loud.

Everyone present there were perplexed as to how come the river could talk to someone…

"Stop spitting nonsense!! There's no way that river could have talked to you" the doubtful Jabbar said to Clark's made up story.

However, Clark had a backup plan just for this if the others wouldn't believe him.

"Didn't you see that the water didn't harmed my hand"

"I think I need to test it out"

"Test what?"

Jabbar took out a spoon from his pocket, who knew that a scientist would carry a spoon with him as they were confused as to what action Jabbar would take next with that spoon in hand.

Standing closer to the river, Jabbar looks down at the flowing water with straightening his arm and hand just above the water, if the spoon were to drop it would fall in the water which the Jabbar was exactly trying to do.

Glup…

The spoon was in the water, although others and Kamal had understood that Jabbar was testing something but weren't aware what it was.

The spoon inside was dissolved by the water without taking more than a single second.

Jabbar turned out as said, "he's clear, we can not enter the water except for him"

Jabbar was trying to know whether the water was safer for them as well, he still wasn't so sure if the kid was lying or not because he was getting the feeling that the kid was lying.

Inside Clark took a sigh of relief since his method of tricking others worked well.

"Should I be heading inside that hole?" Lifting his thumbs equal to the shoulder and pointing them towards the hole.

"Not so fast nephew, you're out of your mind that you think going alone will be safe" Kevin after staying silent during the whole trip spoke up. His voice remained regular.

An uncle worrying for his nephew as he should, it was important to stop Clark from entering a hole without knowing what's coming after going in.

A new problem arrived for Clark as now he had to convince his uncle to let him go, but this problem was resolved much quicker then Clark had anticipated.

Putting his hand inside the pocket of the jacket, Kevin brings out two green crystals.

"What's this?" Clark inquired

"Isn't that a special transportator crystals?" The amazed Jabbar said, who seemed to be interested on his first look.

"This is a transportor crystals," Kevin's hand over one of the crystal to Clark, "If you find yourself in trouble do not hesitate to break to break it, it will teleport you back to where the other crystals will be"

Clark understood the function how these crystals, "alright,"

"Be careful you idiot" Sara with concern said.

She wasn't ready to let Clark go into danger but she had no choice.

With a grin on his face Clark assured, "don't worry" giving a thumbs up to her, "I will come back safe and sound"

Sigh…

I wish I could go with him too or at least uncle Kevin. He's a brainless idiot who always puts himself in strange trouble's.

Without any more second be wasted, Clark dives into the water without being dissolved.

Just as he dived he already reached the other end of the water, it wasn't deep as said before.

It's not even that deep…

The issue was the hole, which was beneath the water, when Clark exit the water and entered the hole he begin to fall with flashy speed due to the absence of water or low gravity.

"Waaahhhhhh"

It was all dark now, nothing around could be seen. The only thing that was present was Falling Clark and darkness.

Why can't I fly?

The panicking Clark said as he wasn't able to activate any of his abilities.

His mouth was opened and eyes widened as he had seen a ghost or maybe…
